My Experience
I am a 35 year old support worker. I have many skills in looking after children and adults which shows I am able to adapt and look after children with or without other additional needs. I have looked after children with challenging behaviour in a children’s unit. I have worked in elderly care and in mental health and I am currently working in a day centre supporting adults with special needs planning daily activities and supporting each of there individual needs from feeding individuals to personal care. I have been a Nanny over seas 10 years ago and I currently look after friends children and have a great relationship with my 2 and 4 year old nephews. I hold a diploma in childcare and I can provide good references.
My Qualifications
nvq level 3 in adult care.
Diploma level 3 in childcare.
I have done many courses throughout my care carer and can provide certificates such as epilepsy trained,autism awareness,infection control,food hygeine,first aid,peg training and so on. I hope my skills in helping people with profound needs shows I am more then capable at supporting and looking after children without special needs also and having these skills and working in care shows how adaptable I am and caring and have many skills in looking after children.
