I am an Ofsted registered childminder and experienced nanny based in St Ives.
Evening babysitting is available to book.
I live in St Ives near to the beaches and the Island, we use these fabulous outdoor spaces in all weathers.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 20 years in schools and nurseries and for the past 12 years I have been an Ofsted registered childminder offering flexible childcare at my house in St ives.
I give lots of care and exciting educational experiences including lots of time spent outdoors on the local beaches in St Ives.
I also do evening babysitting and holiday nanny care in St ives.
My Qualifications
BA (hons) degree in childhood and youth studies, The Open University.
Foundation degree in Early Years.
Paediatric First aid. Food hygiene
Child protection training.
Experience across all age ranges. I am Dbs checked and Ofsted registered.
My Availability
Childminding is available at my Ofsted registered house in St Ives.
Evening babysitting is available.
Holiday nanny childcare available.

Emily is brilliant. We’ve used her for years as an occasional childminder and babysitter and our son absolutely loves her. She is very calm and we have full confidence in her looking after our little one. Highly recommended.

Our son has been looked after by Emily since March and he absolutely loves spending time with her. He's always so happy when we pick him up from her lovely home in St Ives. He first started with Emily when he was 8 months and he didn't have any trouble at all settling in. They do lots of fun activities together both indoors and outdoors and she really makes the most the beautiful area she lives in. We get regular photos and updates on how he's doing. Emily has also babysat for us and been equally amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

My daughter has been spending time with Emily since she was 1, she is now nearly 4. They send time at Emily's home in the centre of St Ives, walking on the island and the beaches and also going on trips. She always enjoys going and especially loves the arts and craft activities and baking that Emily organises for her. Emily has been able to drop Elowen off at nursery or collect her when necessary and the contract has changed over the years to adapt to the childcare I need for work. As my daughter knows Emily well and is comfortable with her Emily is also a perfect babysitter for us. Emily creates a calm safe environment and is very organised as well. Definitely recommended by us!
