About Me

My name is Lisa, I live in Bexleyheath, just an 8 minute walk to Bexleyheath train station. I live with my husband and 3 children, ages, 20, 17 and 11. I am an experienced parent in the first instant and having used a childminder myself for nearly 10 years I know how it feels to leave your precious child with someone else.

I live in a 4 bedroom house with a dedicated playroom just for the children with lots of different activities to keep them busy as well as a large garden for them to play in.

I will provide your little one with:

Homemade nutritious, healthy meals and snacks. (I can also cater for dietary requirements, allergies and general preferences.) Sample menu is available.

Children will have their daily activities recorded on Babysdays, which you can access at anytime via the app. This records their development milestones, any funny moments, feeding, toileting, naps etc which will be shared with you as a parent. I also send pictures during the day via WhatsApp.

A wide range of age appropriate toys, stimulating activities and special excursions, all of which are planned for and risk assessed. Activities and outings will be varied and tailored to your children's developmental stage, we also regularly attend playgroups, this is a great opportunity for your child to mix with others and learn through play.

I can look after your child from birth till they are ready to go to pre-school, then I can pick them up and continue to have them when pre-school has finished and after school too, this means the child will have a great sense of security. Whilst your child is in my care they will participate in lots of different activities such as role-play, dress up, crafts, stories, dancing and much more!

I will provide a safe and caring environment for your child, I will encourage your child to learn for themselves and to be able to make their own choices and decisions.I aim to provide a wide range of opportunities in the form of interactive, fun and challenging activities to enable children of all backgrounds and abilities to develop and learn through play in a caring, supportive and happy environment.

I will work closely with you to gain knowledge of your child and their experiences. I acknowledge that you the parents are the primary educators of your child and I aim to provide the best possible care for your child. Being a childminder means I am different from a nursery as I can look after a certain amount of children at any one time and therefore I can offer lots of individual attention to the children. I also provide a homelike environment and this seems to appeal to parent.
