Welcome to Hunny Bunny's Childcare!
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. I am fully insured and Paediatric First Aid trained.
I provide a welcoming, educational setting in a home based environment, complete with an indoor play room, an secure enclosed garden, and a variety of age appropriate indoor/outdoor equipment and resources.
Activity provisions follow both the EYFS curriculum and children's interests, helping to support their next steps of development. Care Diaries and Observations are recorded online via the Famly App, allowing parents/carers to digitally view their child's progress.
Snacks and filtered drinking water are supplied throughout the day
N.B. Packed Lunches, Weaning Meals, Formula/Milk and food catering for allergies/intolerances/dietary preferences must be supplied from home (no discounts applied).
Outings to local playgroups, libraries, soft play centres and parks are provided during term time, at no additional charge.
Outings to other places including Rufford Abbey, Wheelgate Adventure Park, Willowtree Family Farm and Odeon Cinema are also provided during school holidays (additional charges may apply).
Bank Transfers/Standing Orders, Tax Free Childcare Payments, Funding and Childcare Vouchers are all accepted.

My son has been with Cherie at Hunny bunnies for around 7-8 months, she’s always gone above and beyond to help with any needs. Based at lovely homely setting, Highly recommended to anyone looking for a friendly childminder!!!

Theo has been with Cherie since January when he was 9 months old, he settled in so quickly and absolutely loves it there. He comes home happy and has recently started some full days to help him get used to me going back to work full time. Cherie is always on board with encouraging his next development steps and I’m sure has helped with Theo’s amazing development over the time he’s been there.

My boys are currently with Cherie for two weeks as my regular child minder is away. She also covers some dates that my child minder can't do and is very flexible.
Cherie and her home (and 'Ollie Cat'!) are very warm and welcoming. My boys love it there and always come home happy and full of stories of what they have been doing. Cherie provides lots of varied activities in her beautiful home and takes them to stimulating places such as the cinema and Wheelgate.
I would highly recommend Cherie and Hunny Bunnys to anyone and feel very lucky to have her as our emergency care!

My daughter attended Hunny Bunny's childcare for just over 2 years prior to her starting full time school. She absolutely loved her time with Cherie.
Cherie is kind and caring and I felt confident leaving my daughter in her care. Cherie was always adaptable to our needs. I would highly recommend her as a childmimder..
