About Me
My name is Ria. I have 3 children aged between 3 and 8 years. We have lived in our family home for 10 years and have a very friendly pet Labrador, a cat and now a rabbit that joined us over the Easter period.
My partner and I, both have very large families and our family values very important.
I enjoy walking and spending days outside. I like to meet new people and although I am a country girl at heart, I do like being a part of a friendly neighbourhood.
My partner is a farmer and has some very busy periods throughout the year. Our children love to spend time riding the fields with their Daddy and could definitely teach you plenty about tractors!
My Experience
I am a registered childminder and open for bookings.
I have around 20 years experience working in Early Years (up to 8 yrs old) and some experience of working with older children. My 11 nieces and nephews are aged between 0 and 25 years old, so I feel they definitely contribute to my experience too!
I have studied throughout most of my career and graduated with a Ba Hons in Early Years. Having studied this through Open University alongside working a full time job, I prove to myself that I am self motivated and dedicated to achieve the best I can in a field relevant to my role.
I have been childminding for around 2 years. Your children would be welcomed into my home environment and cared for in a very nurturing way. I have everything to offer a child between 0 and 5 years, from sensory toys for babies, to puzzles, crafts, small world play for the older children.
We are fortunate to have a great garden space which the children would access on a daily basis. With opportunities to climb, bounce, ride a bike and kick a ball, they have the space to move freely in this very secure environment.
I am self-employed so would be very open to discuss this provision with you and how it could work practically and financially for us both, down to details such as providing a car seat and meals or snacks. This would be a very personal arrangement to suit your needs and what would work for your family.

My opening hours are Tuesday to Thursday 08:00-17:30 all year around.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.05 per hour
I offer a day rate between 08:00am and 17:30pm for £50.00
Ad-hoc £6.00 per hour (limited availability)
I accept government funded childcare during term time.
There is no drop off or collection between 08:10-09:05 am and 15:00 - 15:50pm* due to the school run. You can drop off any time before or after these hours.
All meals and snacks are included.
I do not provide nappies, wipes, formula milk or jarred baby food.
*This time can sometimes alter due to afterschool provision, but I will discuss this with you as required.
