I have worked both as a live in and live out nanny, married 27 years with 2 grown up children and a Border Collie.
My Experience
I have over 37 years’ experience working with children. I’ve worked as a nanny with various families ranging from a 1 month position looking after 3 children before they moved to France, to my first position, looking after 5 children for 2 ½ years, as well as looking after the children’s animals and accompanying the family on holidays, working in a nursery setting and most recently as a part time nanny collecting 2 children from school, tea & reading.
My 2 years at The Lime Tree Children’s Day Nursery in Alton, included helping with Babies, Tiddler’s, Toddler’s and Preschool doing Painting, Craft Activities, Storytelling and Singing Rhymes. Weekly Activity Planning, covering the 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Giving the children their meals and keeping track of allergies. General cleaning of the nursery and providing shopping lists when supplies have been needed.
During lock-down I also completed various online training courses as well as creating an Art & Science Activity Folder.
I have also Volunteered at Bushy Leaze in Alton helping with the Creche and 2 Toddler groups and at Little Fishes Creche & Toddle Group in Petersfield.
