About Me
I am mother of three adult children and a friendly small dog.
I specialise in home Italian cooking, I also do school pick-ups and drop offs.
Have lots of experience with babies and twins
I am committed to providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for the children in my care. I endeavor to provide children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development through play and every day experiences.
I understand that each child is an individual and treat them with care, empathy and respect. I provide a nutritious and balanced diet, encouraging the children to make healthy food choices.
I follow the guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage and make regular written observations of the children in my care in order to plan activities to support their individual development and needs.
I believe in working in partnership with parents; welcoming ideas and encouraging parents to provide me with comments and suggestions in their child’s development folder or when they have time to talk.
-I have a large garden with lots of different equipment, and the children have their own plot to grown plants and veg.
-I have a craft room where we do lots of messy play, model making etc.
-We attend stay and play sessions, library and local parks etc
There is plenty of parking by my house and I am local to bus and train stations for Croydon and London.
My aim as a childminder is to cater for you and your child's needs.

CC looked after my daughter for two years (age 1-3). It felt like she was being cared for by a family member. CC is very child led but provides safe boundaries. My daughter was so happy with her.
There is a great outside space and CC provides lots of craft and activities but with time for free play. We so appreciated how our daughter flourished under CCs care and love. A real gem of a childminder.

Our son was looked after by Christine from 13 months until he was nearly five years old. When I first visited her setting, I was struck by how relaxed the children in her care seemed. I think this is due to her approach, which balances “going with the flow” of what the children need and want each day, whilst at the same time providing firm boundaries and rules to help them feel safe. Christine is very experienced in looking after young children and brings a lot of passion to what she is doing. She has a warm and affectionate style and has made her setting a true “home away from home”. She stimulates the children’s learning with some structured activities, but also lets them engage in a lot of free play. The children spend a lot of time out-of-doors in her garden, which is very well equipped for all sorts of adventures. The kids have a good structure to their day and opportunities for resting and napping. There is also fun to be had – not just in daily activities, but Christine celebrates birthdays and other occasions with the kids, and they enjoy the party food, singing and dancing. It was great for us to have found someone we felt we could trust, so we could focus our minds on our jobs on the days our son was with Christine. There was good communication between her and us, and she worked alongside us with things like potty training. We were very happy with her setting and how she helped our son thrive whilst looking after him.

My son is 2 years old and has been going to CC's for nearly a year now. He was originally looked after during work hours by his Grandma so finding a suitable childminder that was very family orientated and felt like a home from home for him was crucial. We had visited many childminders beforehand and the minute we first visited CC's the energy, care and love was undeniable and immediately could feel my son at ease in her home and was content that this would be the perfect environment for him to laugh and learn in. Each child's developmental stage is individually tailored to, they eat home cooked food everyday, have a great outdoor play space and do engaging activities everyday. it is clear he is flourishing from being here. We love reading at the end of each day everything he's been up to in his little blue book and would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for the same things that I was!

Christine has been caring for our two girls since June 2018 and it’s safe to say they love her. Both have thrived in her care and it’s clear she has a very special bond with the children she looks after. The girls time with her is spent having fun which includes learning though play in a safe a homely environment. We would recommend Christine without hesitation.

My son has been with CC since Oct 2017, and we could not be happier with how he is progressing. Since day 1 she has shown how caring she is with all her children, and you can see they all feel very happy with her. My son is so confident and independent now, and is developing into a wonderful little boy with CC's help. All the meals are home made, and they get to spend lots of time outdoors as well which i think is really good for them. We will sadly be leaving soon as we are moving areas and we wish we could take CC with us.

All 3 of our children have been minded by Christine since 2008. She has been an amazing carer who has had a positive effect on all of our children. She provides a safe, happy and enriching learning environment, providing daily updates of the children's experiences. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who is looking for an educational and nurturing environment for their children.
