About Me

My name is Rhian Doyle and I live in Aberavon area of Port Talbot with my Husband Alan and our three children and 2 dogs.

I am currently have part time spaces available.

I had my CIW inspection in July 2018. This is a quote from my report. I was very happy with inspection feedback.

'We (CIW) found that children experience a very high standard of care. The children are settled, happy and really enjoy their time with the child minder. Children benefit from a wide range of play and learning experiences and make good progress. The child minder provides a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn. The Environment is safe and secure and well maintained. The child minder is very organised and runs her service well. All training was up to date and records were in excellent order.The child minder works in partnership with parents to ensure that the children’s needs are identified and supported.'



I aim to provide a happy, safe and caring environment for children to learn and to grow in a secure home environment. I offer a play based environment where children can learn about themselves, others and the world around them. My service is based on enjoying the outdoors and much of our time will be spent outside. I am child led in my approach and will work with you and your children to provide a home from home care. I believe in a natural parenting approach and am used to using slings to carry babies and toddlers. My son was born with Talipes, so I have experience with babies and toddlers with this condition. We have a whippet dog.

I have a dedicated playroom, a secure garden and a living room available downstairs for the children. I have an downstairs toilet. I am willing to carry babies in a sling if that is what the baby needs. The garden has a uncover area for children to play in all weather. I will provide planned activities but I do believe strongly in the child taking a leading role in deciding what we do. I have a large amount of toys but I will review these based on the needs of the children I look after.

I offer many play based activities, craft activities and trips out. I enjoy crafts and I have a variety of craft resources to use including the use of recycled materials and upcycling. I live very near to Vivian Park. I also have many other parks available to visit to either just play in the park or its facilities, or to go on nature walks, such as the Gnoll, Victoria Gardens or Margam Park.

I use the local library to allow the children to choose their own books. We will visit museums like Swansea Museum. We may also visit places like Wiggly Farm Park and soft play centres. I attend the Struthers Playgroup on a Thursday morning and will attend local welsh language playgroup on a Friday.
