About Me
Hi I am Marcee, I live in Bishopbriggs with my husband and two children - girl 4 and boy 1. I have recently became a registered childminder after nannying for the past 8 years. Myself and my husband are fully disclosed through Disclosure Scotland (PVG Scheme).
I am very friendly and caring person who loves looking after children while having fun in a safe and happy environment.
I offer drop off plus pick up from Meadowburn Primary school and nursery and also the Gaelic Unit.
My Experience
I have 8 years nanny experience working with children age between 6 weeks and 12 years. Throughout my years of nannying I have became a part of many families who will always mean a lot to me and I will always keep in touch with. Before nannying I worked in a nursery for 2 and a half years. I am first aid trained which I recently completed a refreshers course in April. I have a SVQ level 3 qualification in child care. My mum has been a child minder for the past 28 years therefore I have always been around children most of my life. I have a clean drivers license and my own car. Also I can now say I have newborn experience with my own 2 little kiddies. Becoming a mum has gave me a lot more experience which I can now relate to you as parents and try to help out in anyway possible to make your life easier!

My Qualifications
I have a SVQ level 3 in childcare. I worked as an early years practitioner apprentice for 2 years while in a nursery.
I have recently passed my first aid refreshers course in April 2024.
I am booked in for child protection training.

I have 1 full day space available for a under 5 and 3 before and after school places.

When Marcee started to work for us, we had one boy at nursery, one at home and two premature twins on oxygen, enough to put most people off the job. But Marcee instantly took to the role like a duck to water and took a lot of stress off us.
Marcee’s stand out qualities are that she cares for the children and has formed very close bonds with them. She has a warm and nurturing personality and has always been responsive to their needs. The children get very excited when they see her in the morning, which is a lovely feeling when you have to leave to go to work.
Marcee is extremely organised and has managed to balance school and nursery pick ups and drop offs at different times, whilst still finding time to do activities, like play groups, play dates with other children and nannies and trips to the park. She is very reliable and has always used her own initiative to keep our children entertained, both during term time and during the school holidays.
Marcee has been an absolute star for us and she will be missed dearly now that our girls are old enough to start nursery.
