Husband & Wife Team who’s aim is to provide the very best childcare on offer and to be recognised as a leading provider locally.
 
We offer a caring home from home environment dedicated in developing children to excel whilst providing the best start a child can get.

Located in Takeley close to Bishops Stortford, our premises is large, clean and most importantly safe & secure.

As an OFSTED registered Childminder rated Outstanding in All Areas - We are fully trained and quailified to offer childcare to children aged from 3 months - 13 years.

In addition we are first aid trained & Fully CRB (DBS) Checked.

We offer a safe caring environment with attentive care to help your love one's learn and develop.

We regularly replenish and build on our materials /resources to keep pace, which in turn helps further promote children's learning and development.
 
We are passionate about our work and we are determined to do it to very high standards so each child in our care gains the very best experiences and early education from our setting.
 
We care deeply for the children and our vision is to provide a first rate service that makes a positive difference to their early lives. 
 
Our energy and enthusiasm helps to inspire the children to achieve their own and parents individual goals.
 
We work hard to make parents and carers feel welcome and to involve them as partners in their child’s learning and development. We recognise that parents and carers have the best knowledge of the child and treat them as ‘part of the team’. We encourage parents and carers to observe the child at play in the home and to use this to help develop their child’s learning.
 
We never stand still, we’re always striving for more.
 
We use different ways to communicate with parents and carers. These include: daily diaries of significant events for their children; text messages; email for photographs and WhatsApp throughout the day.

As a outstanding provider we need to be a reflective practice which is crucial to our success. We are not complacent but aspire continually to do better. We regularly review what we do and how this helps children. We always like to think creatively and be adventurous to find new ways to make a positive difference.
 
Most importantly we love our job and enjoy everyday.
 
Letters of thanks and recommendations are common that continually motivate us.

We constantly evolve and introduce new activities keeping the setting fresh and up to date where we stand out from the rest.
 
For example the team at Happy Kids Childminding Service were super excited to introduce Rachel to our team from Mini Mantras Yoga. 
 
Having met Rachel on our 1st trial session we were blown away after only a few minutes to see how good she was. 
 
Not only does she involve children in Yoga exercises but through storytelling and craft making the sessions come to life. 
 
We immediately booked Rachel on permanent weekly slots to complement our setting and is a fantastic unique asset to our team and the children’s development.
 
Rachel has a wealth of experience working as a Singer, Performer, Performing Arts & Drama Teacher and fully trained in children yoga. 
She brings lots of energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to our regular sessions at the setting. 
 
The children get so much from their sessions and would highly recommend her services to other educational settings from Schools, Nurseries to childminding settings like ours.
 
This additional learning also coincides with Phonics sessions and Sign & Sign lessons which we employ which provides the setting additional fun, high energy classes and open a world of Literacy to children with additional early skills.

Happy Kids Childminding are also delighted to introduce Forest School to our curriculum with Woodland Rangers.

A weekly adventure of fun and excitement for our little ones supervised by Nikki & Louise.

Now, imagine a magical place deep in the heart of the woods, where the trees whisper secrets, and the animals frolic and play. That's Forest School!
Forest School is all about learning and playing outdoors in nature. It's a special place where children can explore, discover, and connect with the natural world around them.
In Forest School, you'll get to do all sorts of fun activities. You might build forts using sticks and leaves, go on exciting treasure hunts for bugs or shiny rocks, or even make incredible nature crafts using leaves, acorns, and pinecones. There's really no limit to the adventures you can have - we also get to splash in puddles, roll in leaves, and get a bit muddy! It's a place where it's okay to be wild, to get messy, and to let your imagination run free.

Our weekly Forest School is so much fun for our Happy Kids offering an additional place to learn about the wonders of nature.
Learning about different plants and animals, how trees grow, and the importance of taking care of our Earth.

We have also been recognised recently once again for excellence from 100’s of businesses especially through these challenging times is simply amazing and we are delighted and very proud of our achievement.
