About Me
I am a 36 year old mom of 2 children (6 and 3 year old). I had been a teacher until 2016 and since then have been a stay at home mom.
I absolutely love being outside with my children playing, chasing and riding bikes. I have experience teaching children in London, South Africa and in Solihull.
I have taught children ranging in age from 3 - 10 years. I am a firm believer that children learn through play and have noticed with my own children that Phonics and Mathematics is more easily understood when the foundation and building blocks to learning are secure.
I would be a great tutor to your family as I have excellent experience with many children of varying abilities and backgrounds.
My Experience
I am an Early years qualified teacher by profession and have taught for 7 years accumulatively.
I have had most of my experience with children between the ages of 3 and 10.
I have a lot of experience with children with learning barriers, and English as a second language. With this I have had support and training on techniques to help them reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
I have my degree in Education obtained in South Africa and have completed a First Aid course and have my DBS check.
My Availability
I am available most afternoons at my home or can travel if local.
I have my own car and drivers licence.
