About Me
Hi I am 39 years old and have two children, a daughter who is 9 years old, and a son who is 6 years old. I live in Denmead in our family home with my fiancé and our cat. I am friendly, reliable and trustworthy with a full clean uk driving licence and my own 9 seater van.
I have a full clean DBS and am Ofsted registered. I accept various childcare vouchers and 9months/2/3/4 year old funding as well as tax free childcare schemes.
I set up Little Giraffes Childminding in 2015 to be able to provide a good quality and safe home based childcare in a home from home environment after being a nanny since I left college. I had my first Ofsted Inspection just before I went on maternity leave and received an Ofsted rating good with Areas of Outstanding. I have recently had my second Ofsted Inspection and maintained my grading.
I offer a wide variety of outings such as trips to the farm, parks, woods, Jiggy Wrigglers, toddler groups, library, zoo and beach.
We do lots of fun activities like baking, messy play, arts and crafts, sand and water play, mud kitchen.
I have three parks in close proximity to my house as well as Creech Woods just a short walk away where we regularly go and visit.
I currently am able to do drop offs and pick ups from Denmead Infant School and Denmead Junior School.
My Experience
I have been working as a childminder since January 2016 but have been working with children since I left college with experience from newborn upwards and multiple twin experience.
I have written references that can be contacted, available upon request and an up to date cv.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Hourly Rate:
£6ph Mondays-Thursdays 7:30am-5:30
(Minimum session 6hours) This includes all snacks and drinks and outings
Parents are required to provide the following:
*Nappies
*Baby Wipes
*Formula
*Sunscreen
Before and After School Only:
£6ph (if holiday care also required rates can be adjusted)
Additional costs if required:
£2 for lunch
£1.50 breakfast (drop off by 7:45am)
Special outings will be discussed in advance with parents and charged as extra
