About Me
I live in Buckden - where I have lived most of my life and have a range of experience looking after children and am very experienced. My degree was in Education so I also have teaching experience and used to children of all ages. I have a niece and nephew who are now 13 and 15 and have helped with them since they were newborn so I am confident with babies of all ages.
I am confident, and am passionate about children and understand them, and have worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal College of Paediatric Child Health and also in Paediatrics at UCLH.
Available immediately as made redundant due to work restructure end of December 2024.
I am kind, caring bubbly, honest and responsible and love children.
My Experience
I have babysat for many years since I was a teenager and have looked after children from 3 months old - to 11 years old.
I am confident with babies and children because I often look after my niece and nephew, since they were born.
My Qualifications
BA Education Degree - 2:2
Primary School Teaching experience, went to University of Reading
Counselling Children and young people NCFE qualification
Play Therapy Accredited
3 A levels - All grade B
10 GCSE's
Project Management PRINCE2 qualified

This was our first time using a babysitter but Lucie made us feel so comfortable and not at all uneasy about leaving our 6 month old son with her while we attended a wedding. She kept us up to date and has a lovely friendly manner.
It's obvious how much she adores children and she is now our 'go to' person when we need a sitter. Highly recommended!
