About Me
I am a 38 year old, fun and energetic nanny, i enjoy playtime and exploring the outdoors with the children, be it walks in the woods, or trips to the farm, or exploring the many national trust places in the area. I LOVE craft activities and messy play, and will get stuck in with the children. I always encourage the interests of the children in my care.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 19 years. Firstly in a nursery and then as a nanny for the last 17 years. I have worked with children from birth to 13 years and with twins, in a sole care role and when the mother was home.
My Qualifications
I am Nvq3 qualified, and have paediatric first aid training and an up to date dbs check.
I also have safeguarding training.
I have excellent references for all roles and am happy to supply these upon request.
My Availability
I have been working for a wonderful family that I have loved for the last 3 years, but due to a change in their circumstance I am no longer needed.
I am in the process of becoming a childminder, but it has taken longer than anticipated. So I am now looking for part time childcare roles, be it nanny work, or daytime babysitting in the week, until I am up and running. Happy to do ad hoc, or temporary role. These would need to include my daughter if possible. Unless role is only for a few hours or on a Thursday, In which I may be able to get childcare cover for her.
I will also consider cleaning/ light housekeeping.
I have a 1 year old daughter who LOVES being around other children, she especially loves animals!
