My Summary

My Experience

I have been a parent myself for the past 26years.
My son is 26 and is now a senior microbiologist. I currently home educate my 12 year old daughter.

When my son was little I was childminder for 3 years and worked in a nursery setting for 6 years.

I was previously employed as a qualified child protection social worker for 5 years and hold a sound understanding of safeguarding children and have worked at QA hospital for the past 15 years as a social worker. I have left the job to take up childminding full time.

I have a large family and friend network which provides lots of opportunity for interaction with many children including 21 nieces and nephews , god children and children from my friends network. At the weekends I frequently look after children for friends and family..

I am also a holistic therapist and am keen to promote mindfulness with children on my setting . I am awaiting my teaching yoga to children training , which has currently been delayed due to Covid.

My Availability

I will be offering school holiday care this will be Monday to Friday 7.30 until 5.30pm. Bookings will be charged by the hour , a minimum of 3 hours is required . I can provide care outside set time if required .

I can also provide evening care and overnight stays and inset days .

My Fees

• Childminding from £4.50 per hour

Please contact me for fees as they vary depending on care requested. My before and after school care is charged by session not hourly.
