My Experience

I currently work as a part time nanny for a fun, curious 2 year old boy alongside studying towards my MA in Play Therapy. The decision to train as a play therapist came from the many and varied experiences that I have had working with children, most especially through my work in schools as a fully qualified primary school teacher. My current training towards being a play therapist fits wholly with my ethos of valuing and really 'seeing' a child as the individual that they are. My experience and my level of qualifications are carried with me into any role that I take on.

I have well over a decade of experience working with families and children, both in nannying roles as well as within education. I am more than happy to discuss any of this in more detail if we connect.

I believe that a trusting relationship is central to any work, especially where children (and families) are involved. I have a passion for creativity, and I love to bring fun and genuine connection to the children that I work with.

My Qualifications

Currently studying: Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play (part 1 of MA in Play Therapy)
PGCE Primary Education (2017)
Ba Hons Fine Art (1st class)
Level 2 Certificate in understanding adverse childhood experiences.
Full DBS certificate
Safeguarding qualifications
Full Paediatric first aid

My Availability

- Weekday evenings (after 7pm)
- Weekends
- Tuesdays and Fridays until 2.30pm.
