My Summary
Twice Outstanding Childminder And Babysitter
About Me
*Space is available Monday-Thursday, with some limited availability in the school holidays.*
I am an Ofsted registered and fully insured childminder and babysitter in Hayes, near Pickhurst School. I have twice been graded as 'OUTSTANDING in all areas' - in October 2021 and also in May 2023.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and cover the seven areas of learning through lots of exciting days out and stimulating well-planned activities. These are tailored to the children's development stage and interest to help them reach their next learning milestone. I believe in child-led play through role play, music, singing and dancing, messy/creative play, and playing outside. Children are encouraged to learn about the world around them by visiting our allotment, the local library, parks, and local playgroups & children's centres. Outings to places further afield like the woods, farms, soft play, and museums are also offered. I drive which allows us to go on trips further afield, we have even been on trips to London and the beach (all are risk-assessed and take place with the parent's permission). We like being outdoors a lot spending most of our time out and about! I have an abundance of toys and resources for children of all ages which are regularly cleaned, rotated, and restocked. I take inspiration from Hygge and Montessori as well as loving forest school! I use the Babysdays app to record your child’s development and their daily activities for you to view at your convenience
I am passionate about being the type of childminder whom I would be happy to use and I appreciate that parents need to find someone they trust. I work with parents to ensure that we develop a great relationship so that I can support you on returning to work or ease any worries about leaving your child in childcare. I am a Mum of three, two girls, and a little boy. My children are now at school, allowing me to prioritise the little ones during the day. We are a friendly family and welcome the company of others. I am part of a great network of local childminders and we often meet up, enabling the children to make friendships with others. I run a home-from-home environment and hope that little ones see it as their second home where they feel valued & respected. I live in Hayes between lovely parks and woods. Bromley South, West Wickham, and Hayes train stations are all close by. My home and garden are fully risk-assessed and approved as safe environments by Ofsted and the local fire brigade. We have two small, friendly dogs and a gerbil. The dogs are crate-trained and can easily be separated from the children.
I accept all childcare voucher schemes and offer funding, including the new proposed funded hours scheme. I am happy to discuss school holiday care, shift work, and early starts.
If you would like to talk further about my service and how we spend our day please contact me. I have many parent references available for you to see.
