About Me

Welcome to Little Ducklings Childminding!

We are kelly and Laura both working mums and Qualified Nursery nurses with over 10 years experience of working with children qualified at levels 2 & 3 in early years.
We have each have two children all
Of similar ages. we can therefore offer experienced childcare along with your parental / maternal feelings of leaving your little ones with someone new as We have both been there. It’s not easy.

We are Based at kelly’s house, in Crofton Wakefield, very close to Walton, Sandal, sharlston and surrounding areas such as crigglestone, hall Green, and Ackworth.
This Also has easy access from and to the main Doncaster road.
Kelly lives with her Husband and 2 daughters 8 and 3, along with Our loveable cat, max and Labrador, Luna!

Laura lives in crigglestone but works from kelly’s home as a co- minder.
Laura lives with her husband and eldest son and youngest daughter also 8 and 3.

We offer a warm, very happy caring environment. It is full of smiles, laughter messy activities, along with a calm safe nurturing environment to ensure your little ones are truly happy!
With a lovely wonderful outdoor play area with climbing frame, swings and slide on artificial grass so we can play out all year round!
We also have a lovely summer house with heating installed where we do our messy activities all year round or use it as a snug at nap times for non sleepers.
We are also in the process of creating a wonderful forest area in our side garden!

We have limited amount of full and part time places currently available as we do not like to be too full which we feel can distract from the attention the children get if we are too busy. We do also accept 2 3&4 year funding.
We currently only offer school runs to Walton Primary Academy and have set an age limit of 0-5 years.
Meaning most children leave us when it’s time to attend full time school. So we only offer wrap around for nursery children at the moment.
We are running a waiting list for some days but do have some limited availability for Monday mornings and Tuesday all day from July.
