About Me
Hi all
My name is lindsay hendrie, i am a registered childminder with the CI. I have 2 children of my own who are 14 and 20 years old both boys My husband is also registered as my assistant . I have attained partnership with the council to provide funded placement for 3 to 5 year olds. I also have a childcare practitioner qualification.
We enjoy lots of arts and crafts and going out to parks, soft play and toddler groups. I have a large garden which is child safe. At present we have a very large decked area for the children's use which has different age and stage appropriate outdoor toys and games.
We have very friendly 2 dogs and a cat. They are used to children of all ages and will generally be very playful. They are kept closed in the kitchen with a child safe gate in place. If the children wish to see the dogs and pet them then this will be supervised at all times.
I provide a caring, friendly, nurturing home from home childcare service and the biggest pleasure I have is seeing each child develop and flourish whilst in my care.
My Experience
I have been registered with CI since 2011 and I have been recently inspected and graded very good . I am a registered nurse and have over 20 yrs experience. I keep myself up to date with best practice by attending any ongoing cpd courses, online learning. , which in turn enables me to provide the children with the best care possible. I have partnership with the council to provide elcc for 3 year olds

My son has been attending Lindsey’s ELCC since 2017 and he was able to get his 600 hour placement though Lindsey. He’s thrives going to her, having a 1-2-1 learning basis has allowed him to make friends as well as develope further. currently age 3, he can tell you all the colours, points them out, tells you about different flowers, animals and can put sentences together very well. He is learning life skills which council nurseries do not offer, he loves going to soft play, and loves going on outings. Lindsey follows the council teaching and follows though on different topics, with lots of drawing, painting and arts and crafts. I highly recommend Lindsey, and she will go further and above her duties . She has a great back garden, which allows the kids to go out and play on, and with her being near fields the kids enjoy their walks.

Lindsay is a very professional, friendly and welcoming child minder. My son, who's 10 loves being looked after by her as she has plenty of activities available to him. In particular my son enjoys spending time out doors which Lindsay facilitates. Lindsay very much so takes in to account my son's wishes and preferences. I have found Lindsay very accommodating and also very flexible. She also keeps me updated as to how my son is through out his time with her. My son has recently had a leg injury which Lindsay has been absolutely brilliant at supporting with due to what my son can and cannot do. I would absolutely recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for a child minder. Excellent friendly, professional and flexible child minder.
