About Me
I have over 9 years experience of working with children aged newborn to 5 years, and some experience with children aged up to 13 years. I enjoy working with children and helping them to learn and develop.
I am a happy, creative, hard working person who enjoys spending time outside and in the local area. Having lived in the Marlborough area for my whole life I have an excellent knowledge of different activities available for children, and have regularly taken children to soft play, the local parks and to activity groups. I am motivated to ensure the children in my care are stimulated and encouraged to develop through a range of activities and I enjoy giving children opportunities to socialise.
I live in Marlborough and have my own car. I am able to provide a CV and references upon request, I am also DBS checked and have up to date First Aid.
My Experience
I am currently a full time Nanny.
Previously I have worked at a Private School where I spent most of my time with the 2-4 year old children, I planned and carried out activities, went on school trips and helped some children to toilet train. I also helped out at after school club with children aged 2-13 years where I supervised play and planned age appropriate activities/ games.
I worked in a local nursery for 6 1/2 years. I was a Room Leader and step up Deputy Manger, working with children aged 0-5 years. Here I built some excellent relationships with parents and their children and went on lots of different training courses to provide me with the knowledge I have.
I am currently the regular babysitter for a few families in the local area and have undertaken periods of nannying for some of them. Taking and picking up from school and pre-school, homework completion and providing healthy and nutritious meals.
Due to my experience I have a very good knowledge on Children's development and how they enjoy learning. I have a detailed knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and different activities that can support children’s development at different ages. I am able to create different activities ensuring children are always stimulated and given a variety of activities to engage them.
