About Me
My name is Sue and I am 35 years old. I am married and have a 6 year old boy. We have a very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I live a 5 minute walk from Five Ways Primary School. I enjoy walking, our garden and family days out.
I am a fully registered Childminder with spaces available from birth to five and school wrap around care, set in a warm, safe home like environment. I am passionate about working with children and strongly believe that children learn best through play. I have a wealth of resources to help guide Children through their early years and encourage their imagination. My setting has direct access to a fully enclosed garden which again, hosts a variety of toys and resources. We enjoy growing our own vegetables and plants. I am a member of the Forest Childcare Association and am committed to providing Children opportunities to explore their natural surroundings and environment with regular outings. I am a member of National Trust and take full advantage of visiting new places as well as local parks, regular play groups and Cannock Chase.

My Experience
I have completed all local authority courses and undertake regular training courses which include Safeguarding and Child Protection, webinars and e-learning as part of my continued professional development. Since a change in career in 2015 to follow my passion to work with Children and through hard work and determination with the support of my family, my setting has been very successful and well received with supporting references from all Parents both past and present.

I have flexible, full and part time spaces available for Children aged birth to five as well as wrap around care for Five Ways Primary School.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
My fee is ÂŁ4.00 per hour which includes a variety of healthy snacks, lunch, drinks and regular outings to play groups etc
Any baby formula, nappies and wipes will need to be provided by parents.
All fees will be invoiced in advance, monthly.
I accept Childcare Vouchers / Funded Spaces.

My son was 9 months old when I was looking for childcare i didnt know what to do wether I wanted a childminder or nursery i was so confused! I looked into both and viewed place after place.
I found sue on childcare.co.uk and arranged to meet with her i took my son along with me as I did every time but this time something was different as soon as she opened the door I knew she was the one for us. Sue was all about my son talking to him, getting him toys making him comfortable and happy was top priority! I could see how kind and caring sue was, it was all about my son first instead of trying to impress me with loads of words! I loved this it was all so natural and relaxed.
Sue has been our childminder now for 4 years and I am so glad I found her she is amazing! She will do anything she can to help. My son absolutely adores her and as progressed forward at each stage with all the lovely activities she does with the children. I receive pictures and messages telling me everything they get up to on the day. If I had any questions she always had the time to discuss them with me.
I would highly recommend sue to anyone she is such an amazing lady with love and passion for her job. Thank you sue.

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Sue is. Like most parents, I found the thought of childcare very daunting. I was a first time mom and had no clue about childcare and just how long the waiting lists were. I was referred to Sue from a family member and I am so lucky I found her. From the moment I walked through that door I knew she would be the one to take care of my daughter. She was only 9nmonths old and will now be starting her new journey at school in September.
Sue really does care about her job and all her children who attend the setting, she does the most amazing activities with them every day.
We get daily updates and photos to show what fun they are having. I really couldn't ask for more. My daughter really loves going and loves Sue and all the other children so much.

Our little boy was 1 and a half when we needed some additional childcare for him. I was quite nervous initially as I had never used a childminder before. Sue came recommended and as soon as we met her we were immediately put at ease. She is absolutely everything you could need and want in a childminder. She does something different with the children every day, they are always off exploring and having adventures and she cares for and loves them so so much. My little boy (and my daughter now who also goes there after school) are in love with her and they have the most special relationship. It's the best decision we ever made for them xx

Where do I even begin?! Sue is absolutely phenomenal at what she does for the children. She has absolutely beautiful ideas and activities set up for the children to enjoy every day. No two days are the same and sue’s care style is second to none. We get daily photographs and updates of our little one living his best life. We cannot thank Sue enough for all the time she spends preparing the activities and schedules for our little one to enjoy. If you’re looking for a dedicated, loving, home from home childcare provider then Suze is the one!

Myself and my wife are both serving the Armed Forces, we moved to the Midlands in July 2018. Our daughter was almost 2 years old by this stage, as most parents we were anxious about finding a childminder that our daughter would settle with and continue to develop.
After seeing approximately 11 Childminder’s Sue was the last one we visited, I wish she had been the 1st.
Sue instantly put us at ease with her calming nature and enthusiasm for her role as a childminder. Her setting is excellent and would stand the test against most, if not all reception classrooms; every resource any child could wish for.
Since being with Sue, our daughter as continued to develop excellently; she adores Sue and all the other children in her setting. Sue loves to get out and about with the children, something that we as parents feel strongly about in our daughters education.
Sue really has been everything and more as a Childminder, she is passionate, diligent and most of all a beautiful person. We hope our daughter can remain around her setting for years to come.

I have always had to work full time since becoming a mum 9years ago. It has been a long and painful journey to find suitable childcare. Who do you trust with the most precious gifts in the world that are your children?
Then I found Sue......
She is simply amazing, I trust her implicitly. Our daughter has the most fantastic time every time she visits. Sue uses innovative creative tasks to develop learning new skills, its usually messy and creative which our daughter loves.
Flexibility is important due to work commitments,Sue is aways willing to help wherever possible.
In short Sue is the answer to our childcare prayers, I wish we has found her sooner.
