About Me
My name is Kate, i am ofsted graded GOOD, I am married with 2 boys aged 16 & 9. We have lived in Hatfield Peverel for 20 years, we are a fun, friendly family with 2 loving dogs. We live in a semi-detached house with a beautiful cabin that i work out of at the end of my garden. I work with my lovely assistant Sonia, I’ve known sonia for 15 years & she is extremely friendly & fabulous with all the children. The new cabin is filled with toys, books, arts and craft and so much more!! Please come and have a visit :) i have a large back garden with an extensive range of play equipment. I have a large decking area outside my cabin & a large Astro turfed area which has an amazing large wooden play centre with swings & tunnel slide, climbing wall & more. Also a little tikes tropical climbing frame for the smaller children with a large & small slide & a tunnel. This is popular will all age groups :) I also have an aeroplane seesaw which children of all ages love. All the children can play outside on the equipment even in the rain as there is no mud. (Only in the mud kitchen ) i have tuff tray for sand,water, messy play & all sorts for kids to enjoy. I have table tennis for better weather. My back garden is not a boring place.
Having little ones we are always out & about going to local play groups, the zoo, marsh farm & soft play areas. I attend the local playgroups & meet up with other childminders regularly.
Or Even just a walk to the park, feed the ducks & a visit to the horses down the road. Always something fun to do. There is a new play ground being built opposite my house.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage & work together with parents to achieve next steps & develop their knowledge.
I offer a Fun, Friendly, Safe, home from home environment.
I am offering a great before and after school environment with a great playroom in the cabin, fabulous garden or a place to relax with tv or Xbox after a hard day at school.

Having my own 2 children & since September 2015 when I registered I have been looking after lots of children of all ages, from 3 months +

I have level 3 in homebased childcare
Myself and Sonia are both:
Paediatric first aid certified

Kate is a wonderful and loving childminder, my son absolutely adores her and feels very comfortable when I drop him off in the mornings (only 2 and a half!) I never have anything to worry about when my son is with Kate and she always has fun activities planned.

Both my partner and I work full time and it is such comfort to know our children are very happy with Kate. Kate is a wonderful, caring and friendly person. We have a 1yr old that stays with Kate full time and our 6yr old that is before and after school. Kate is always doing lots of activities with them and the care at her home setting is great. Our kids love their time at Kate’s and always come home happy. We feel very lucky to have found such good care for them.

Excellent setting for children of all ages. Both my children go to Kate’s before and after school and I never have concerns when they are with her.
My children enjoy their time with her and have plenty of activities both indoors and outside.
Kate has a lovely attitude towards parents and children, would highly recommend.

Kate is brilliant, really warm and friendly. Both my children go to her after school and absolutely love it. She has thought of everything when it comes to activities and play equipment for the children. Only rated 3 stars for food because my kids only eat a snack.

Kate is a fabulous childminder who my children adore going to. She offers great facilities in her cabin with plenty of outdoor play, activities and chill out time.
Her laid back and loving attitude means I never worry when my children are with her. I 100% would recommend her to anyone for children of all ages.
