I have been Ofsted registered since 2016 and was graded Good on my last inspection, May 2024. As a childminder I provide a 'home from home' environment where children feel safe, secure and have loads of fun learning through play. I have a designated playroom with a wide variety of toys and educational activities to encourage children to explore different interests and aid development. There is a large secure garden for outdoor play, exercise, growing plants and even exploring mini beasts.
Activities include painting/drawing, crafting, baking/food tasting, singing/dancing, shared reading, role-play etc. Topic weeks are used to explore different aspects of society such as culture, religion, transport, jobs etc.
We visit parks, the library, soft play centres, playgroups and have fun day trips out (all costs are included).
