Hello, my name is Nina. I am a friendly, approachable, easy going mum. I use the ground floor of my semi-detached home for childminding. I have a downstairs toilet, a spacious, open plan living room and playroom with a large and varied selection of toys and activities. I also have a large, secure garden for children to explore and have fun in.
From the moment you choose me as your childminder, your child will be well looked after, in a safe, happy and caring environment. I understand and appreciate the role of being a parent and I will take guidance from you, as well as supporting and developing your child to your satisfaction.
I offer a wide range of activities to help nurture and encourage children at a steady pace. I will work alongside parents to set goals with your children and provide help and support if they struggle to meet them.
Childminders provide a home from home environment for children and parents can feel at ease leaving them, knowing that they are surrounded by their home comforts. They have one to one attention whilst also having other children to play with. A childminder can build a good relationship with a family and care for your child until they start school.
I am Ofsted Registered, flexible and attend regular training. I had an inspection in December 2017 and my outcome was Good.

My Experience
My childcare experience started just over 16 years ago with the birth of my son. I enjoy my role and get satisfaction and joy from caring for children. I take pride in my setting being a comfortable and homely environment.
Each child is unique and individual and I take this into account when planning activities and daily routines. Having different age groups is fun and I have resources to accommodate this and to enable them to develop and learn from each other. Children respond well to one on one interaction as well as group play, which they will regularly experience when being minded by me.
We go on lots of outings like visiting the park, playgroups and soft play centres. This allows children to socialise with other children which is all part of their communication and social skills.

I highly recommend Nina as a childminder. She took care of our 2 year old like she was her own. She's a very easy going and approachable person and she's gone above and beyond to make our little girl comfortable for the two days/week she was with her. She has a small setting where she can individually care for each child and we felt comfortable that our little one will receive the attention and care that a child a bit isolated during the pandemic really needed. She takes the kids to playgroups, soft plays and parks alongside providing different other activities on the premises. I have no doubt that the time spent with Nina was key to making our daughter adapt and settle in so well at nursery. Thank you Nina.

My almost 3 year old daughter has been going to Nina for over a year. She is always happy to go in and looks forward to see the other kids. I am really pleased that I know my daughter is well looked after in a loving and caring environment, while I am at work. I can tell she learnt a lot, and picked up good habits.
Nina is very approachable, reassuring, accomodating and flexible.

My 2 year old son has been going to Nina 3 days a week since he was 10 months. Both my son and I instantly hit it off with Nina since we met when he was 3 months old. Knowing that my son is safe and happy whilst i’m at work makes my day so much easier. My son benefits from the daily interaction with kids of all ages and has learnt so much being in her care.

My 2 year old son goes to nina, and my baby daughter will be going to her next year.
My son instantly connected with nina and has always loved going to her. He gets on with her children and Nina's home is his home away from home!
Nina is super accommodating, flexible and friendly, we work together on anything that arises with my son, whether its routine or something with his behaviour. Her communication is always prompt and shes always really reassuring and supportive.
Choosing nina made going back to work so much easier as I had full trust in her with caring for my son. Definitely recommend!

I currently have a 4yr old daughter with Nina and am due to add my 6 year old too. My youngest loves going to Nina’s, she gets on really well with Nina’s children, who play great with all the kids that attend the setting. Nina has always been really easy going and very accommodating to any changes in times/days etc that Iv needed. She’s also been great with my daughters fussy eating. Overall I’m thrilled with the service and am looking forward to my other daughter attending. Great peace of mind for working mums

Nina cares for my three children with no problems at all. The children are always excited and happy to go with her. I couldn't have chosen anyone better. Nina does activities, games, art and lots of other fun things with the children who always come home with very positive feed back. The times are very flexible for myself which is perfect, morning school runs, all day care, evening school runs and evening care! All in all for a mummy that does not trust easily I am very happy to say I am more than comfortable leaving my children with Nina she does an amazing job, house always clean and tidy, children are ALWAYS happy to go.. Thank you Nina, you do an amazing job and its very much appreciated.
