About Me
Hi, my name is Maria and I am an Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder based on kingshill offering full or part time care for children from as little as 4 months.
I have been living on kingshill for 10 years with my husband and two children aged 12 and 10. I’ve been childminding for 8 years now and built great relationships with current and past families I care for.
Being a parent myself I understand how important it is to find good quality childcare that both you as a parent and your child are happy with.
I offer a home from home, safe and welcoming environment with lots of toys and fun activities to stimulate the children and encourage them to grow into confident and happy individuals. I provide lots of opportunities for the children to socialise, we regularly attend baby and toddler groups, meet up with other local childminders and attend many play dates. We are Outdoors when possible and take full advantage of what’s on offer on our doorstep. Whatever we get up to each day I ensure the children are happy, safe and learning along the way.
I maintain communication with parents on a daily basis with an app called baby’s days and also lots of pictures via what’s app.
I do accept payment with the tax feee childcare scheme.

My Experience
I have been a mum for 12 years now and have learnt plenty along the way! The most important thing I have learnt is every child is different and will learn and grow at their own pace.
My last OFSTED inspection was in May 2023 in which I achieved a GOOD grade. A copy of my report is available upon request.
I have been childminding for 8 years and gained a lot of experience along the way. I have cared for over 20 children. Each completely different and wonderful in their own way. I’m always looking for new ideas for the children and have completed many CPD courses along the way.

I do not even know where to begin with this review because Maria was that wonderful. I cannot recommend her enough. Maria was the first childminder I have ever had to use and we were so blessed with the amazing care and love she provided to my daughter whilst I worked part time as a Paediatrician. As a working doctor my rota can be brutal but Maria was always understanding. I never once worried about my baby when she was with Maria.
The only reason we are not still with Maria is that we have moved to Nottingham and funny enough Maria and her family would not move with us!!
She provides regular updates and photos during the day, fun activities and days out for the children. Her home is welcoming and very family friendly that my daughter felt like one of the family there.
We will miss Maria and her family and hope to find a new childminder as half as wonderful as she is.
