About Me
Hi, my name is Amanda.
Im an “Outstanding” Ofsted registered Childminder. I live in Watnall.
I offer before and after school care from Larkfields School - spaces available and also have spaces for early years children too.
I aim to offer a happy, nurturing, friendly environment for your little ones to thrive in whilst you have peace of mind when leaving them in my care.
I offer a variety of stimulating activities covering all the areas of development and working alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have a secure garden for outdoor activities too, having hours of fun!!!!
I drive a 7 seater car and I’m fully insured, having a full clean uk driving licence to transport your children to surrounding areas- Local Parks, Libraries, Local activity groups and many more adventures.
I appreciate the importance of selecting the perfect childcare for your Children so please feel free to come and have an informal chat with me and see what I have to offer your little loved ones...
My Experience
I have over 20 happy, fun years experience working in two Day Nurseries as Room Leader and Deputy Manager caring for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
I also have quite a big family therefore have experience of a wide variety of ages.
My Qualifications
NNEB Qualification gained in 1995.
Paediatric first Aid.
Attended a variety of training courses including - Creating a successful Partnership with Parents, Designated Person Training and Early Indentification and Intervention.
I also have a file with all my certificates in which I have gained over my childcare career.
My Availability
I work Monday - Thursday 7.30 till 5.30 if you require longer than these hours please feel free to discuss it with me as I am flexible and approachable.
