About Me
Hi, my name is Louise. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder with a Cache Level 3 in Home Based Childcare. I am also fully trained as an Early Years First Aider.
I have two daughters, Lily who is 16 years old and Sophie who is 11 years old. I live with my husband Simon and have been happily married for over 17 years. We also have a beautiful Cockapoo named Baxter.
I enjoy working with children and helping them to develop and grow. I aim to make them feel like part of the family and provide a home from home service. We enjoy many activities during the day which include messy play, role play, arts and crafts, garden play, story time and singing. These activities are fun and engaging and also educational. During the school holidays we love to venture out to lots of places including beaches, woods, farms, soft plays and age appropriate amusements.
I offer a healthy breakfast and will provide snacks throughout the day but ask that you provide your child lunch.

I have 9 years experience in Childminding as well as bringing up my own 2 children.
Experience with children aged 0-14 years and can provide references if needed.

My son has been nurtured & treasured by Louise & in turn we have come to treasure her & the commitment & kindness she has always shown to me & my (newly diagnosed) special needs toddler. Louise goes above & beyond in the education tools she implements for young children & I felt my son was always in safe genuinely caring hands. Would more than recommend Louise’s childminding care to any parents!

Our son was with Lou from the age of 10 months old, up until he recently started school and we simply could not have wished for a better person to take care of him. There was always a new game, activity, or adventure he had been on and learned and developed so much in the time he spent with Lou. Lou's setting is just brilliant, with so much for the children to do and learn whilst still feeling like a warm, calm, and family environment. We hit the childminder jackpot when we found Lou and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Loise has cared for my two daughters before and after school over a period of 3 years. They were 5 and 8 at the time. They both had a fabulous time at Louise’s from start to finish and made some great friendships with other children and made wonderful memories they will cherish forever.
Going back to work after 10 years of break, she put me at ease with her kind, trustworthy, professional manner. I have never experienced any anxieties leaving my daughters with Louise, she made the whole process so assuring and comforting. I know that while I am at work, they simply couldn’t be in a better place with better people. She has a beautiful house and a family and her children are a credit to her. Her two children are brilliant role models, alongside their mum and my children have felt a part of the family from day one.
I am so thankful to have had this amazing, kind, caring and supportive professional in all our lives and will miss her very much.
Anyone looking for a top-quality childcare setting should look no further. It really is a home from home, personal and loving setting for any child to attend.

I highly reccomend Lou, she is a fantastic childminder to my little 2.5 years old girl. At the end of each day my little girl is eager to continue playing and learning. Lou is attentive and great with kids, encouraging learning and developing skills thorough play and creativity. I am very pleased and thankful to have such a great childminder.

My daughter has been with Lou since September last year and I can honestly not fault ANYTHING about her.
She is caring, attentive and treats my little girl like one of her own. I know how fantastic she truly is as on many occasions my daughter has often not wanted to leave at the end of her session.
Lou has always been flexible when needed and we are so glad that we found her. We now can't imagine our lives without her.

Lou has been looking after my 4 year old son since September......I am so pleased that we chose her; my son is very happy when he is there and is always bringing his drawings back to show us, she has a lovely, relaxed manor with the children and I am totally at ease when I am at work, knowing he is in a safe, clean and friendly home. Lou has also been very flexible and accommodating with us - I will be using her from September for both of our children, when my son starts school.

My son has been with Lou since September 2016 and I can't recommend her highly enough! She's formed such a great bond with him and really supported him with his speech delay. The resources and activities she provides are fun, engaging and great for his development. Nothing is ever too much trouble and it really is a great relief to me that I've found someone who cares for my son as much as I do!
