About Me
My name is Sarah Hutchinson, I have 5 children, 25 23, 16, 7 and 3. I love children and having my 4th gave me the push I needed to pursue a career in childcare, something I have wanted to do for a very long time.
I had my first graded inspection in October 2017 and am very happy to say Ofsted graded me Good in all areas.
I look forward to welcoming children into my home and aim to provide a professional, loving, secure "home from home" environment with fun learning activities and opportunities for children so that they may thrive.
We enjoy visiting local parks, walks in the woods and in the countryside, farms and our favourite place Longleat.
We attend various groups in the local community such as Messy tots, Rhyme time, Play bus, Play Group, the Childrens Centre and Childminding groups.
Some of the activities we enjoy: sensory play, playdough, water and sand play, outdoor play, painting, drawing, cutting and sticking, threading, hama beads, heuristic play, junk modelling and den building.
My Experience
I have been childminding for almost 4 years and brought up my own children.
My Qualifications
In November 2014 I completed my 'Introduction to Childminding Practice' Course which included a qualification in food hygiene and a qualification in Safeguarding of Children, every member of my household over the age of 16 holds a valid DBS certificate.
I have also completed a paediatric first aid course this year.
My Availability
My opening hours are 7:30am - 6pm
I currently have Early years spaces throughout the week.
