About Me
My name is Tony Everitt and I am a qualified childminder. I was born in South Africa but have lived in Hanslope since 1997 and have brought up our 3 children in the village of Hanslope. I am married to Angela who is a qualified early years teacher with a wealth of teaching experience in both South Africa and the UK and is currently at home with me. We have 2 Scottish terriers, who are used to being around children.
My Experience
I am a trained childminder and hold a paediatric first aid certificate. I have a 25 year old daughter, a 22 year old son and another 15 year old daughter and have been actively involved with them and their friends in all their interests, from football to cheerleading.

Our son has been with Tony for a couple of years and I wish I had known about this hidden Hanslope gem sooner!
Tony is just wonderful. His sense of calm and fun comes in equal measures. He has been so accommodating and has treated us almost like family in the time we have been using him.
Our son has made some very special memories whilst in Tony’s care, including the annual birthday cake and his love for jam on toast as an after school treat! There has also been many afternoons spent baking with the lovely Angela.
When our son was in a phase of creating comics, Tony would join in his quest to ensure that the “comics” were made to the highest standard by stapling and folding paper as requested. It was something so small, but to us, it has meant so much that Tony always encouraged anything our son enjoyed.
I would recommend Tony to anyone seeking a childminder, without a doubt.

Tony has had the pleasure of childminding both my girls he has taken time to understand them and how he can support us as a family.
My youngest is still with Tony and she loves the opportunity of being able to go to the park after school to play with other friends compared with being in after school club.
Tony and Angela always celebrate birthdays with the children and in the summer they have the opportunity to go in the pool and have an ice cream.
He always makes sure to keep each child feeling welcome and included in options of activities. You will be very pleased in placing your child with Tony.

To be honest, I had reservations about a male child minder at first & placed my son with a female childminder. Having met Tony & his daughter looking after their kids & my sons friends' in the park last summer, I had a lovely chat with them both and instantly felt a rapport with Tony. He was highly recommended to us by other parents in the village & our son has been seeing Tony weekly for over a year.
He lives close to the park & always takes the kids there when the weather is good. I couldn't be happier & count us very lucky to have found a childminder like Tony.
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best childcare around.

My son absolutely loves coming to Tony's. He has gained so much confidence while being looked after by him.
Tony spends the time doing different activities with the all children arts & crafts, taking them to the park after school pick ups.
He is a brilliant childminder, really great with all the children.
I'm really grateful to Tony & his family for looking after my son while I work. His very trustworthy & friendly I would highly recommend him.

My son Thomas is nearly 13 and has asd, he is currently on a very restricted timetable at mainstream school. Hence, when I'm at work, Thomas goes to Tony.
Thomas absolutely loves going to Tony's, he adores their dogs and spending time with them and the rest of the family.
Thomas says "Tony is very friendly, funny and it is very easy to find something in common with him".
