About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and live in the Thornes Park area of Wakefield with my partner & son who was born in January 2005. I offer a quality childminding service to parents and carers, who want their children to be able to learn and grow in a safe, welcome and homely environment.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience of working with children as a private nanny and also in private day care nursery's.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Introductory to Childcare Practice Course. I'm a certified first aider (early years) which meets HSE and Ofsted requirements and i also have basic food hygiene certificate and level 3 Safeguarding Children & Young people. As of July 2010 i completed NVQ level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development and i am currently doing the EYFS certificate which i should have completed by October 2010. In September 2023 I started the Early Years Professional Development Programme a course covering the EYFS Primes areas - Communication and Language, Mathematics & Personal, Social, Emotional Development.
My Availability
My working hours are 8.00 am til 18.00 pm Monday to Thursday, school holidays and i also cater for term time only if preferred. I'm not available on bank holidays. Though i am willing to discuss earlier or slightly later times.
