About Me
I am an Ofsted outstanding childminder. I love looking after children, and enjoy nurturing them (predominantly through play) into happy, healthy, confident young people. I believe strongly in wellbeing, following on from my BSc degree in Pschology. I specialised in child psychology. Although setting based, we go out and about to the forest, beach, country parks and attractions ( when open)most days. I believe experiences outside discovering are the best form of learning. However, we do further our learning with extra facts from researching the internet at the setting for items of curiosity from outdoors and follow topics of interest through play, arts and crafts. I also believe in working with children’s learning behaviours (schemas).
I was in the MET police prior to childminding so I appreciate the importance of safeguarding and I know children thrive when they feel safe.
I have two friendly boys aged 12 and 14 years. I enjoy running and adopting a healthy lifestyle. I have a friendly dog and two cats.
My Experience
I have my own two children aged 12 and 14 years and I have been childminding for 10 years. I was graded outstanding by Ofsted in June 2016 and February 2020.
My Qualifications
BSC Hons degree in Pschology ( majored in child psychology) and Sport Studies. Also a Foundation Degree in Early Years education. ( level 5).
My Availability
All year round, term time only. Predominantly for Early Years (0-5 years). Please enquire regarding availability.

Maggie has never complaint about my 5 year old who can be really naughty at times. She has always been positive.
My son always comes back happy and tired. I would strongly recommend her services.

Maggie offers fantastic service. She is amazing with my daughter. Maggie makes very good progress to my daughter and even in the weekends asking for her. She makes children's time full of fun and I recommend her because me and my daughter so much loving her.
