I am a committed and dedicated qualfied Early Years practitioner who strives for excellence in my setting. I have gained 2 consecutive Outstanding judgements from Ofsted and numerous accreditations for my business.
My Experience
Whilst working as a teaching assistant in the local primary school for 3 years and bringing up my own 2 children I began studying child development and psychology, after another 2 years experience in the foundation unit I decided to start my own little home based nursery.
In 2006 I registered as a childminder and enjoyed working with children from 3 weeks old to 11 years old.
I believe that children learn holistically through play as I strive to provide a relaxed but educating environment.
Over the years I have watched children plant seeds, grow vegetable, hatch chicks, climb trees, build dens, dress up, explore the seasons, make life long friends and grow into wonderful human beings.
I want a child to have fun, enjoy their learning and be proud of who they are. To look back on their learning and say "wow, that was fun"

Qualified Early Year Practitioner (EYPOpen)
CACHE level 3 in home based childcare
Paediatric first Aid
Food Hygiene and safety
Makaton
I have successfully attended and studied numerous industry courses over the years and continue to enhance my professional development
My Availability
Due to children starting full time school I have 2 EYFS (0 -5 year old) spaces available. I offer flexible cover from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
