About Me
I am 49with two children of my own, one being 29 and one 12 years.I enjoy cycling and camping and spend a lot of time walking our beautiful countryside.
My Experience
I have raised my eldest child whilst working as a nanny for a local dentist. I have also worked in nurseries and as a teaching assistant in a primary school. I have been a registered childminder since November 2015 and do enjoy the work. I aim to ensure my setting offers a home from home atmosphere with plenty of outings and early years fun. This year (2023) I completed a degree in early years and am already implementing my new changes into my business using these skills so every child has the best experience possible.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£5.50 per hour minimum charge of £16.50 per session. You only pay for the hours you require.

Choosing Sandy to be my daughter's childminder was by far one of the best decisions I've ever made. My daughter has additional needs & nursery just wasn't right for her. It was busy, noisy & overwhelming, causing her to feel very distressed which was very upsetting for me.
Fast forward to July 2024 after spending a year with Sandy & my daughter has become a happy, confident & sociable child who has gained so much knowledge & experience.
Sandy offers a safe, fun, happy & learning environment, coupled with great days out, allowing my daughter to flourish & become the best version of herself. She went above & beyond to study my daughter's additional needs in her own time to ensure she had the best possible knowledge to support her.
I really couldn't have asked for more & I highly recommend her as a childminder.

My daughter has been going to Sandy since she started school and she is going to be going into year 5 in September!! I couldn't have asked for a better childminder, my daughter loves going here and it is like a home from home, Sandy is great with her and all the children she looks after, you can tell she loves what she does. She plans the activities so everyone will enjoy them, she helps with school work and does everything she can to help. She really goes above and beyond with the care she offers and I'm glad I found her :)

Almost five years where has that time gone! It's and absolutely please to look after her and thank you so much for you wonderful review.
Sandy is truly an exceptional childminder and a few sentences aren't enough to describe what she does for our child.
Our son is nearly 3 years old and has been with Sandy since he was 9 months old. It's simply amazing how advanced his knowledge is for his age and Sandy has all the credit to take for it. The setting is fantastic and the activities are imense. Our boy is in a constant development and when Sandy sees the potential she will push him to the next step. And plus, she recordes everything he does in a website, so we, parents, can follow up our child development. We could not be any happier with Sandy and would recommend her highly to anyone. Thank you Sandy.

Sandy looked after my 3 year old daughter. It's always a tough decision to choose who to look after your pride and joy! Hands down with a doubt Sandy is the most caring, fun, and trustworthy child minder, I could of asked for. Always there to listen to you and your child's requirements, and help out where she can. She goes above and beyond that extra mile!

My son absolutely loves her and I feel completely happy and confident when I leave him in her care. Sandy provides lots of engaging activities/trips and puts a lot of thought and effort into everything. I cannot recommend her enough!
