About Me
I'm an ofsted registered childminder in Newton Abbot town centre. I live at home with my husband and 2 children who are 11 and 8 and our dog who is a miniature labradoodle. I have lots of experience working with children with the added benefit of experience with children with special needs. My hours are flexible so please contact me to discuss hours, although normal hours are 8am till 5pm. I'm afraid I don't do over night care, weekends or bank holidays.
We love being outside and have lots of planned activities and groups we attend. We have paignton zoo, living coasts, orange elephant, national trust, Plymouth aquarium, woodlands and world of country life passes so have regular days out here. We go to soft play centres, local playgroups, music session, move with me, walk the dog, go the beach and have regular crafts and messy play sessions. I can provide a more attachment style childcare if preferred and have a range of baby wearing slings so you can rest assured your child will not be left crying when they need comfort. I provide a home from home nurturing environment. We have an all year round garden with lazy lawn so spend lots of time outside.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 18 years as a childminder and in schools both mainstream and special needs. I have also worked as a senior support worker for adults and children with mental heath and special needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I change £45 a day 8am to 5pm which includes snacks and outings and charge a small amount if you require me to provide meals which is not a problem.

Amy is am extremely kind warm person who without a doubt should be your choice for childcare. She has a beautiful home and wonderful family. My son loves going to her house and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her.
