About Me
Hello there, I am currently looking for a p/t nanny position and or ad/hoc work for my free days which are Thursdays to Sundays. I am a nurturing and caring nanny with the added maturity and sensibility of experience of all ages for the past 15+ yrs.
I have been working with a lovely family in Hebden Bridge for the past 2 years my current role consists of the sole charge of 2 children aged 2.5 yrs and 5 yrs old on a Monday to Wednesday.
I do not drive and enjoy walking and am not averse to public transport. I am happy to travel to work. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and am close to my family and friends. I enjoy life and try to find the small things that make me smile every day. I am most definitely a cup half full person.
My Experience
I started babysitting for local families and then became an Au pair in Italy and also Norway. When i came back to the UK i became a live-in Mothers helper for a wonderful family with 4 children. This vast experience helped me to develop my childcare style and evolve as a Nanny. Each family i have worked for has given me great references and i feel proud to have helped nurture each child in my care.
I continuously further my Early Years knowledge by taking on further education, reading and keeping an eye on new studies and information that relate to my field. I believe an ongoing education alongside practical child care has helped me greatly develop my craft. Children to me are magical little humans that need to be heard and seen and guided on a safe path to become individual, confident and all round good people.
