About Me

Hi, I’m Tracey, a mum of two and an OSFTED registered childminder, with 24 years experience and a number of years as a voluntary classroom assistant at a local primary school.

I am a caring and attentive childminder, providing for all of your children's requirements. Working in the West End, close to Abbey School and the town centre, my parents and children find my location extremely convenient for drop-offs and pick-ups.

I offer a range of home-cooked and healthy food for all of my children, which ranges from snacks to meals and drinks. Any dietary requirements can be catered for, nothing is too much trouble. I also offer access to a range of exciting activities, such as Peppa Pig parties, World Book Day celebrations, plus fun and focus days from countries around the World.

I have a large well equipped playroom at my home, which your child will love. There are a whole range of toys for children and an extensive library for all ages. Engaging children in reading at an early age is hugely helpful for them, as they develop and move on to school.

I believe passionately about engaging with and developing all of my children. Being outdoors is important and introduces children to wildlife and nature, as well as physical activity. I have regular park trips, picnics and a variety of parties, such as birthday celebrations and notable dates throughout the calendar year.

It is important for the children to have experience of other settings. I am a member of Darlington Childminders who hold regular events such as Toddler Group, where your child can interact with other children of a similar age and engage in rewarding activities such as making food and music, but not at the same time!

I believe feedback and updates are important for parents and I agree a personalised update/messaging package with each family, ranging from WhatsApp, photos, hard copy diary and update books.
