Trust and confidence

Trusting someone to care for your children is one of the hardest decision to make as a parent. When I returned to work from maternity leave I needed someone who could care for my 3.5 year old and one year old. Having them together was really important to me and having someone who would be a long term part of their life was equally so. I could not have asked for a better childminder than Jacki. Both my children settled really quickly and going to work confident that they are happy makes all the difference. My little girl absolutely adores Jackie (and bambi the cat), asks for her when we are away for holidays and gets excited about her days with Jacki. She will regularly ushers me out the door in the morning telling me to "just go mummy". My little boy has thrived on all the various activities that they go to and has loved their adventures on the train and out and about. Jacki works closely with a couple of other childminders so the children all get to know each other and this has been great for my wee boy who goes to nursery with alot of the children but it also means that my children know all the childminders and they help each other out to cover appointments etc.

It is evident that Jacki genuinely cares for the children in her care, she takes a real interest in them and makes an effort to support their interests and likes in the activities that she does with them. She promotes an educational aspect to all the activities and this year they have been doing topics likes "sense" and "pirates" in amongst all the various trips such as the sea life centre, the cinema, out for lunch, to see Santa at Callander house. I don't know where she gets her energy from! My children enter Jacki's house happily and leave with big waves and hugs and kisses, I couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic Childminder

I decided I had to get a childminder for a couple of days as my mum and dad were watching my young son. I went to visit Jacki with him and he instantly took to her right away. I could see how caring she was towards the kids already in her care. The transition of me sending him to a childminder was so much easier knowing I had nothing to worry about!!

She has my son out and about at different groups, the library, walks and arts and crafts in the house, I have noticed a big difference in him in such a short space of time. He was never with other children but he is coming along so well being with other kids and with Jacki helping him to learn new things.

A fantastic childminder and would highly recommend her. :-)

Jacki is brilliant both my boys adore her and her cat lol. She has been especially good with my eldest who might have autism and speech problems, he isn't good with strangers but instantly took to her and since being with her he has came on leaps and bounds.

Fantastic Childminder - highly recommend!

I returned to work after a very long career break and had to find a childminder for my younger daughter and eldest daughter after school. After much research and contacting people I decided on Jacki and I can honestly say she was a complete god send.

I was very apprehensive on returning but the transition could not have been smoother. Both my girls adore Jacki. She does activities with my youngest EVERY day and attends a variety of groups, clubs and outings. Jacki is fantastic with my girls and she is genuine, caring and most importantly loving towards them. I wish I had found her sooner as my return to work would of been much sooner.

Highly recommend Jacki, she is a wonderful childminder and person. 5 stars plus!
