About Me
Seeking Temporary Live in Nanny : with some light housekeeping duties from 6th May to until 7th July .
Might suit international Uni student or teacher looking for a London base as part of travels or saving for gap year. Must have work visa for UK and be over 18.
Weekends free & family flexible on occasion to ensure it’s a good experience for candidate.
Relaxed informal household with busy parents and two happy children. 9 year old daughter, loves music, dancing and school. 6 year old son with lots of energy and imagination. Diverse household, an Irish mother and Australian/Asian father. English is the only language spoken in the house currently.
A cleaner attends to the house regularly, so only light housekeeping duties commensurate with maintaining a tidy & hygienic environment is required.
My Requirements
Live in Nanny Housekeeper - Salary negotiable to reflect experience & commitment required. 40 hours minimum per week, weekdays only.
Parents have a variable schedule so will require hours to be flexible week by week and some split shifts daily.
Key purpose of the role is to support the parents in creating a safe, healthy and consistent routine and environment for our two children to thrive and develop. Supporting with morning routine and school run, tidying, laundry and cooking for the children, homework and adhoc family errands.

Tue - Fri 7am – 10am (12hrs )
Mon - 2pm - 8pm (6hrs)
Tue - 2- 7pm (5hrs)
Wed - 2-10pm ( 8hrs)
Thurs - 2-10pm (8hrs)
Fri - 12- 6pm (6hrs)
• Breakfast & school drop off
• Household chores, laundry & local shopping
• School and after school activities pick up.
• Cooking fresh meals predominantly for the children
• Keep track of School / after school activities / summer activities
• Support with homework and music practice
• Support with bathing, managing eczema and general hygiene
• Evening babysitting twice per week.
• Communicate daily with parents on children’s well being
Required Experience, Skills & Style
• Track record of being organised and proactive
• Ability to shop for & cook healthy food with fresh ingredients
• Track record of working with children to create a safe and caring environment
• Calm and organised nature
• Willingness to be flexible and support the family as needed
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
• Willingness to support parents and school values
• Full Driver licence essential and willingness to cycle or walk children to school desirable.
