I could not dream about better Childminder

We absolutely love Ali ! She looks after my daughter only since January, but I am absolutely amazed with her. There are no more dirty poo nappy packed back home, Mia is regularly changed and having lots of attention. The kids are getting on so well, as Ali is teaching them good manners. All eat at the same time, by the table and play with each other. On a weekly basis they visit all sort of soft plays/parks/places, where they can enjoy their time and learn new things. Mia has developed since so well and started talking more and more, creating sentences, rather just using simple words only. Mia goes straight in, where before she was every day in tears! On special occasions Ali makes the effort with kids to create related to the occasion stuff, i.e. Valentine's cards, Halloween Pumpkins, Xmas cards etc. Even with no occasion, Mia brings home dragons etc created throughout the day, or a reward certificate for a good behaviour/settling in. It just melts my heart how full of love Ali is for these kids. It is definitely from home to home care. Mia is always very excited seeing Ali, and we will continue to be there until Mia goes to school. Well deserved review. Thank you Lovely <3

We couldn’t ask for better!

We are so happy we found Alison after having a not great experience to the previous Childminder. Alison has been absolutely amazing when we first approached Alison she had limited spaces and we totally understand why her attention to detail and home from home feel is amazing especially for our daughter who has a lot of allergies and a skin condition. Alison supports us and makes us feel at ease, my daughter has been with Alison now for over a year, she has professed so much. I couldn’t be happier! Nothing seems to much of an ask! Thank you!

Excellent childminder

Alison is the best childminder we could have for our daughter. She has been under her care since she was 7 months old and is looked after with extra caution and attention. They have created a nice bond together as Alison is very smiley, energetic and creative, with lots of indoor educational activities and outdoor walks in the park. I would definitely recommend her care.

Our superhero

Alison has been our childminder for the past 5 years. She has looked after each of my boys since they were 1. From the moment Alison met me and my boys, she put us all at ease. The family environment that’s at the heart of her setting has always meant that my boys have had a home from home. Alison has become part of our family and makes sure she knows the boys in and out so that she can set up activities that suit their interests and support them in the areas that they need to develop.
What we have always loved most about Alison is her love for the outdoors which matches us perfectly. The boys always got to go on adventures with her that they would never get to in a nursery setting. Our boys have never had any issues with playing nicely with other children because Alison encourages positive play between all the children in her care and helps them develop the social skills they need when they start at school. If you are looking for a warm and family like setting then Alison is the childminder for you.

Just as fantastic second time round

When you find out your pregnant you plan little things like the nursery, plan a baby shower, pick a name… nope! Not us! We made sure Ali would have space for our little lady! I could not thing of anywhere else I wanted her to go.

She went at 9 months old and has just left to go to school. She’s had the best time every at her “school”. She loves her “teacher” and her excited to go.

They do such a wide range of activities and go to so many fun places. My little lady feels right at home there and I know she’s being looked after as a member of the family - not just a job.

Ali let’s us know what they have been up to each day and where they went. We get photos through the day - when they aren’t doing secret art projects - and birthdays are never forgotten (theirs or ours).

Ali adapts to each child’s needs and quite often has 4 different things going on so none of them miss out on important projects or lessons.

Should we every have a 3rd I’ll be sending them back to Ali.

Thank you for another amazing 4 years of care.

The most wonderful childminder

Ali has been taking care of our son since July 2021 when he was around 18 months old, and she has been absolutely amazing!
She is incredibly caring and loving, and our son loves going to her setting. He sometimes asks to go to Ali's house even at week-ends. Ali plans plenty of interesting activities and outings with the children, following their interests but also making sure to incorporate educational experiences, such as counting, learning the alphabet, colouring, singing and reading books.
Children are always extremely happy and polite in her setting, and our son has learnt very good manners and has become much more independent since joining.
She has also dealt with some instances of challenging behaviour from our son incredibly well, always with calm and clear communication, and a ready smile when he would behave well.
Ali always communicate promptly with us, and has been incredibly flexible in accommodating our working hours, as well as embracing our home language and learning words and phrases to understand and communicate with our son as effectively as possible.
She is an amazing childminder, and we have been extremely lucky to have met her. We would take her with us now that we are moving cities, if we could!

Fantatsic

My son has been with Alison since 2012. He loves going to "my Ali house" and Alison has helped him progress a huge amount. Alison has plenty of time for all the children in her care and goes above and beyond to make sure he's happy. Alison communicates well with me and I feel I can always ask questions. We work together to get through difficult situations.
