About Me
I have three children aged 12 years, 10 years and 3 years. I am hard working, reliable and professional and aim to provide each child with the best quality childcare.
I believe that each child learns at their own rate and in their own way. I aim to allow each child to build on their strengths, needs and interests through all different types of play experiences. We do a lot of messy play - painting, play dough, craft, sand, water, slime etc. We read, draw, puzzle, sing, dance, dress-up, role play, build, bake etc. We spend time out of the house at playgroup, music group or go for a walk in the park.
Most importantly, I believe that each child should feel at home in our house so I aim to provide a caring, responsive and nurturing environment. We like to have fun!
I find that a huge part of the job is good communication with parents. To help with this and so that each child can talk about their day at home, I complete a daily journal for each child. I regularly add photos, anecdotes, planning and observations.
My Experience
I have been a full-time childminder for the last 10 years during which time I have regularly attended training courses to further my professional development.
