Hi!
My name is Tasha and I have been working with children for almost nine years now. However most recently, since I had my son, I have been working weekends in a restaurant.
My last job ended in Feb 2020 - I worked with a wonderful American family with a baby from 11 weeks old. My job before this ended as the family relocated abroad. They had 2 children; a gorgeous 13 month old boy and a beautiful baby girl born September 2018. I looked after both children. I have other experience beyond this and am happy to discuss further if you wish to do so!
I feel I am a very responsible individual but am still very down to earth, caring and nurturing. I am a proactive person and try to always conduct myself positively, this is why I always try to give children my attention and patience in all aspects of care. I believe in always giving positive reinforcement and having lots of educational fun, but can be firm when it is warranted.
I love working with children of all ages but I especially love working with babies/children under two. I am so passionate about working with a family to create the best memories for the children, parents and myself as well.
Here are a few duties I have fulfilled in my past jobs;
-newborn night care
-cooking/preparing healthy meals and snacks
-changing and cleaning children
-putting children down for naps/to bed
-bathing
-feeding
-taking children to do outdoor activities (playgroups, park, club classes, nursery etc)
-creating fun activities indoors

My Experience
I have experience in a private Montessori primary school working as a teaching assistant for ages three to ten.
I went on to spend a few years working in a crèche part-time with children aged six weeks old to eight years old. I spent most of my time there with babies and toddlers and had up to 3 babies/toddlers at one time (more at a time if they are older). This is around the time that I became a nanny which I have done for a few years with newborns to 11 years. I have always had a passion for newborn care which pushed me to do a course as a Postnatal carer/non-medical maternity nurse. I am so excited about continuing down this career path!

Completely flexible about days/hours - would rather not work more than 10 hours a day, but can be flexible on this also.
