Our little boy was really well looked after by Margaret a few days a week from age 1 to 3 before he recently started nursery. Margaret provided a lovely warm, comfortable and caring environment. She is very consistent, has a lovely manner with the children in her care, calm, kind and patient and really takes the time to engage with each child and get to know them. We loved that she always celebrated their little achievements and acknowledges special occasions.
We found Margaret to be great at providing detailed feedback on how our little one had been each day and loved that she would often send little photo updates of the adventures they had together.
Margaret is excellent at providing a wealth of different experiences and activities and always kept it fun, interesting and engaging for the children taking them to music group or playgroup (prior to lockdowns) or different parks and wooded areas for outdoor play. She also has a fantastic home set-up with safe enclosed garden for outdoor play too which our little one really enjoyed.
At pick-up time there was often the excitement of showing us their latest themed arts and crafts project to celebrate various social events and holidays for example Halloween, Chinese New Year, Burns night etc which was both enjoyable for our little one as well as educational.
Our little boy formed a lovely bond with Margaret and the other children in her care and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Margarets childminding services, it has been a really positive experience for us all.
