About Me
We are a busy working household with two bright, curious and creative children who thrive with clear boundaries, gentle guidance and lots of patience.
We’re looking for a reliable, kind and confident after-school nanny to join our family and help care for our two neurodivergent children from September. Our son is autistic with ADHD and our daughter has ADHD. Ideally, you’ll become a key part of our support system – someone our children can trust and feel safe with.
My Requirements
We’re looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our team — reliable, intuitive, and a good fit for a neurodiverse household.
Working hours
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 3:00pm–6:30pm
• Friday: 1:30pm–5:00pm
• Approximately 13.5 hours per week
• Term-time only (with occasional holiday hours by agreement)
The role
• After-school pick-ups from two local primary schools
• Support with daily transitions
• Homework supervision, snacks/dinner prep
• Calm emotional regulation support where needed
• Light household tasks (e.g. tidying up after the children)
Who we’re looking for
• Experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g. ADHD, autism)
• Calm, warm and consistent approach
• Strong communicator with children and parents alike
• DBS checked, First Aid trained (or willing to complete training)
• SEN experience strongly preferred
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Drive a manual car confidently
(own car is a bonus but not essential – we can provide one if needed)

? Pay: £18–£22/hour depending on experience
