About Me
Hello my name is Yolanda and I have been a career nanny for the past 12 years. For the past 8 years I have been working exclusively as a maternity nurse.
As a nanny I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of ages. I have worked internationally in London, Auckland and Sydney, as well as having travelled abroad with families. In February 2016 I underwent further training to become a postnatal carer as this has always been an age I love working with. Since this transition I have been predominantly specialising in working with premature babies as well as first time mothers. I am caring and supportive as well as organised, patient and reliable, while always maintaining a high level of professionalism.
When working with new mothers I encourage a gentle feeding and sleeping routine that works for both the mother and her baby, and look to devise a long term plan that will continue to meet the needs of the family long after I am gone.
My Experience
I am caring, organised, patient and reliable. I have experience caring for a wide range of ages including newborns up to the age of 10 years old.
As a maternity nurse I am supportive and flexible in my approach and enjoy providing new parents with the skills, knowledge and confidence to enjoy the first few months with their new baby. l offer encouragement and support to breastfeeding mothers, but if you choose to formula feed I can fully support and assist with this as well. I can advise on a age appropriate sleeping and feeding routine which allows you to receive as much rest as possible in these busy first few months.
I have had the pleasure of working with families who have multiples including premature newborn twins. I also have experience in caring for newborns/babies with reflux, cows milk allergy, early allergies as well as tongue tied babies.
I have many glowing references and have maintained lasting relationships with many of the families I have worked for. My other interests are exercising, traveling, snowboarding and yoga. I live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy cooking and eating out at cafes and restaurants with my husband and friends. I am currently seeking maternity nurse and night nanny work.
I also provide consulting services for families with babies who are seeking more troubleshooting solutions and am currently training further in holistic sleep coaching.

Yolanda is a highly professional and effective night nurse with a gentle approach. She looked after our twin boys since birth (born 36 weeks) until they are 4-month old.
She has a real attention to details. I was pleasantly surprised when she texted me on the day the twins were getting their first vaccines with things to watch out for - she took notice on everything we said about our babies and supported us in every way according to our preferences. She also supported us with one of the twins who has colic and acid reflux with projectile vomits.
She has been an absolute godsend for us as first time parents of twins. We are sad to see her go as the twins are now sleeping through the nights. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough to other families.
