My Summary
About Me
My name is Jane and I am married with two children, Ciaran who is 22 and Megan who is 15. We live in Vicars Cross, Chester with our 2 year old cockapoo Oscar.
My home has been fully inspected by Ofsted and offers a safe and stimulating environment in a large 4 bedroomed house over 3 floors. I have a playroom, large kitchen/diner (good for messy play), large lounge, spare bedroom and a rear garden with a variety of outdoor toys plus plenty of indoor games to keep your child happy.
I am committed to providing an environment in which all children's needs and expectations are met.
I provide a warm, safe and stimulating environment for children so that they can develop personally, socially, creatively and physically to their fullest development potential.
My aim is to provide outstanding childcare that i would wish for my own children.
My most recent Ofsted Inspection in July 2018 graded my setting Good.
I am also Chairperson of the Association of Chester Childcarers, helping to mentor and support both new and existing childminders in the Cheshire area.

My Qualifications
I have completed the ICC course for childminders and hold a paediatric first aid certificate, Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2, Safeguarding as well a many other courses to ensure my knowledge is up-to-date. I follow the EYFS Statuatory Framework for learning and development of each child.
Ofsted Registered - graded Good.
I also hold the City and Guilds Diploma in CYPW Level 3.

We would highly recommend Jane to any parent looking for a childminder.
Our daughter started settling in before her 1st birthday and has been there for 15 months.
Our little one loves going to Jane’s and is growing in to a confident chatty little girl thanks to the care she has received.
We are relocating with work so unfortunately have to move childcare closer to our work place but I know our little one will still say “jane house, neil house” for a long time after our move.

We have used Jane since 2014 and her setting has worked really well for our family. Both our children have attended since they were just under 12 months old as our main and only childcare provision. I've really appreciated Jane's routines (especially nap time after lunch) which we followed at home too. We are really pleased with the daily routine with morning playgroups/ activities /meeting up with other childminders and children for playtime, then have the opportunity to have a quieter afternoon and a sleep if required. Jane has a very homely setting with great toys/resources indoors and outdoors too. Jane provides wrap around care to us for before and after the school day, and drops off and picks up our children from our local primary school and preschool. Jane looks after our children during the school holidays and takes them on day trips. Jane and her setting has been perfect for us and our children.

Jane provides outstanding childcare for my 18 month old Emily. She has been going to Jane now for just over 6 months and she thoroughly enjoys her time there. Jane is so warm and friendly. She goes out every day she is with her either to the zoo, play centres, ice cream farm, which I absolutely love. She also meets up with other childminders which allows Emily to interact with more children than the ratios allow.
The meals that she provide are excellent.
I could not be any happier that I have found such an amazing childminder.

My children have all been in Janes capable hands over the last 4 years. My youngest is currently with Jane and absolutely adores her. The days are structured and fun filled. They generally go out somewhere every morning, this was really important to me and there is a good mix of activities, play groups, the zoo, local playgrounds, picnics and more. He has a great routine at Janes which has helped us to improve his sleep through the night. She is extremely knowledgeable and happy to help and offer advice in any way she can. It makes going to work that little bit easier knowing the children are happy, in a home environment, doing the things I try and do with them too.

Our daughter Sophia (17 months old) has been going to Jane for the last 4 months.We are extremely satisfied with the care provided by her.She offers a warm and caring environment for kids.She structures the day with a good mix of activities which provides appropriate stimulation for Sophia's development.At her home there are lots of toys and activities,for all age groups, good healthy home cooked food and a lovely garden to play in too!
Jane is extremely professional and well organised.She is quite flexible and willing to help out even at a short notice.She communicates regularly with us and strives to work together as a team to ensure that Sophia's needs are met in the best possible manner.
Sophia has settled down really well and every morning is super excited to go to Jane's house.(Even at the weekends !!!)She treats Sophia just like her own daughter and we feel extremely lucky to have her as our little pudding's childminder.
