My name is Lisa and I am an Ofsted registered and NNEB trained childminder. I live with my Husband Chris and our three children; Ellie 21 , Isla 9 , Leo 5. I became a registered childminder in 2016 following a career as Nursey Nurse in local day nurseries and then working in the local Catholic school as a Nursery Nurse in nursey and reception.
We live in a 3 bedroom house with open plan downstairs and plenty of space for your child to play, learn and explore within a safe environment. The children in my care are welcomed by my family and the children love being part of a fun home. I am a happy, relaxed person who finds her job very rewarding. I plan activities based on celebrations, festivals and other events throughout the year. These include arts and crafts, baking, dressing up, and reading books on related topics.
Outside I have a garden with a decking area straight out the back, with a play house and Climbing tower with slide, and ride on trikes. I also have a lawned area with a slide, mud kitchen and a variety of outdoor play equipment. I like to use the garden to extend children’s experience of wildlife and to have fun with messy play.
I love to go out daily with the children to local parks, libraries, playgroups, farms, pick your own farms, soft-plays, shops and wisley, and to other local childminders houses, which builds a bond with other children and minders in our community.
I provide home cooked meals and healthy snacks at appropriate times that include plenty of fruit and vegetables.
My house is less then a 1 minute walk from Motspur Park train station
My Experience
I have an NNEB in childcare and have been a senior leader of a baby unit, nannyied for a few families and worked in the local playgroup and worked in the local school nursery/reception for last 8years before becoming a childminder in 2016 so childcare has always been a passion of mine.

My Availability
I have a full time space available ( Mon - Thurs ) from September for an under 5, and maybe a 2 day space for mon and Tuesdays. I offer school pick ups to sacred heart school.

Lisa has been a consistent presence in my sons life since he was born 4 years ago. She is engaging, fun, and my son loves being looked after by her.
I have completely faith and trust in her, for which I am very grateful.

Lisa has helped me out on several occasions over the past 11 years with babysitting and childcare. Sometimes this has been at quite short notice and she has always been accommodating and changed her own plans to help me which I really appreciate.
Her passion, warmth, kindness and great sense of humour mean that my children have always felt welcomed, loved and at home with her and her family. Her setting is a safe and happy place; she is always updating resources and equipment available to suit the needs and interests of the children in her care.
I cannot recommend Lisa enough and any child who is looked after by her is very lucky. She really is one in a million 🌟

I have been using Lisa regularly for over 10 years, from 3 months old to 10 years old. Lisa has a lovely fun nature and my children enjoy spending time with her. Lisa is very imaginative and always thinks of fun activities to do.
I confidently recommend Lisa.

Lisa has been a fantastic childminder to our daughter for the past year and we would highly reccomend her. She’s been so warm and friendly and genuinely treated her like a member of the family. She took the time to really get to know our daughter and made sure she settled in properly at the start.
Lisa has buckets of energy and enthusiasm for looking after small children and always provided a wide range of imaginative and fun activities which our daughter has loved including lots of outdoor play, arts and craft, local trips and playgroups.
We particularly appreciate all of Lisa’s efforts with helping our daughter meet her milestones. Our daughter has delayed issues with mobility and Lisa has been so helpful and patient with assisting her with her physio.
Lisa’s house is clean and welcoming with a great range of toys (and always beautifully decorated for the big events!) Our daughter has enjoyed spending her time with Lisa and her whole family and has made lovely memories. We’re sorry to be leaving (moved out of the area).

Lisa looked after our son for 2 years and she was absolutely amazing from the start. She is hard working, kind, thoughtful and caring and really truly cares and nurtures every child she looks after. She does lovely activities for the kids and goes on fun day trips. She also meets up with other local childminders so the children all play together which is great. They spend a lot of time outdoors too which the kids adore. Her family are also really lovely and welcoming and it is a wonderful setting for the kids to play and learn in.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder near Motspur park - she’s absolutely fab. Thank you Lisa for everything - you’re a star.

Lisa looked after both my girls. They absolutely loved the setting which was fun and engaging, as well as nurturing.
I especially loved that Lisa went out of her way to include play that included French words and culture as we are a French family. She provided a very diverse menu, and my girls tasted food at Lisa's they would have never tried with me!
She was able to identify areas for progression and offered some activities that helped my little girl reach the milestones expected for her age (ie hand eye coordination).
Lisa offered a lot of outside play with other children, come rain or shine, so the girls always had lots of fresh air and made amazing childhood memories jumping the in the mud, playing with sticks, and making imaginary castles.
Each day I received a very detailed account of what had happened duting the day, giving me confidence my girls were having great fun in Lisa's care.
I really recommend Lisa as a childminder, my children absolutely thrived in her setting and went on to be very well-adjusted and prepared for school.

Lisa looked after my 2 children from ages 1 and 3 until they were both in primary school and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She treated my children as if they were her own, and they absolutely loved going to her. She always had great craft activities and games, they did loads of playing outdoor, and she took them on trips in the local area, and sometimes beyond, and she even got my fussy son eating fruit and veg willingly which he wouldn't at home!! Lisa is kind, patient, fun and totally unflappable. She's an absolute gem.
