About Me
Hi I'm Sara, I'm 33 years old and have previously been registered before for two years, then I had two years off to have my 2 beautiful boys who are now 12 and 13 years old. I have a partner and live with my family in Birchwood. I have previously been registered for 15 years (stsrting 2014) again and also 3 years before having my own children and have chosen this career since I've left school as ive always had a passion of working with children, I have completed my Early Childhood Studies Degree at Bishop Grosseteste University. I am up to date with my paediatric first aid, safe guarding children and food hygiene and all other relevant training, If you would like anymore information please feel free to ask me :-) x
On my last inspection I have been graded GOOD with only a couple of minor points to improve to get outstanding I have uploaded my certificate and my DBS and early years degree certificate.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified registered childminder and also members of Childcare.co.uk. I care for all ages of children and every child is given equal opportunities to play with all the resources available to me. The schools and nurseries I pick up and drop off to are currently Lancaster, Woodlands school and nursery, Birchwood juniors school and Leslie manser. I will consider other schools if needed depending on times. I have had an abundance of experience starting from when I did work experience at woodlands school to growing up around children as my mums been registered since 1998 and then went onto doing my NVQ level 3 in childcare now I have attended university and Completed my early childhood studies degree l- level 5! I wouldn't change my career for nothing, I think I would be lost without it! In total I've worked with children especially early years for 18 years in total and counting. I am also a hairdresser and offer discounts to mums and a childcare service while you get pampered and have yojr hair done! If you any questions please do ask me I’m here to help! x

My Availability
I currently work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday between the hours of 730am - 4pm. I am very flexible if you would need longer hours. I have many places available, so don't hesitate to contact me to discuss anything you wish too. I also offer a babysitting service for parents any day of the week, including weekends, which have to be at my own house dur to my own children! :) X

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Currently charge £5.50 ph for all ages of children, this includes healthy snacks and drinks if needed. If more information is needed on this feel free to discuss over the phone or face to face on visit to look around :-). Also offer out of hours care for £10 per hour in the week also offer weekends but this would be more per hour, If needed I would be happy to discuss this further. X

I was absolutely delighted when I meet Sara and her family. They provide a lovely and caring care for children. There is a lot to do. Sara is also a very flexible person. I had to find a childminder for my son as I am a full-time nursing student and working different sort of shifts patterns. Sara helped me by even though the fact I have a very crazy timetable (that most likely not many people would be able to go by) she agreed to do it with no problem. Including the fact my son is autistic which may make it a challenge but she is very understanding and thoughtful. Also from Tristan's point of view he absolutely loved it there and when we had to go home, he just didn't want to leave! I would recommend Sara to everyone as she is absolutely lovely.

I’ve never left my child since birth with anyone. Sara made it so easy for me to do so. My child went straight in and was so comfortable immediately. I felt so relaxed knowing my child would be ok and in good hands. Thank you Sara you go beyond the call of duty. I appreciate you being a total stranger in Lincoln.

I was nervous about leaving my daughter initially as my son had been a nightmare transitioning to childcare but she settled quickly here and seemed to make nice bonds with some of the carers. I liked that she seemed to always have had a productive day bringing home lots of lovely artwork. However at times I was left waiting at the front door despite ringing the bell for about 10 minutes and I found Sue and Sarah quite unapproachable at times, not talking to me and leaving me stood there with my shy daughter who was always a bit wary on handover. This left me feeling quite anxious at times, however she always seemed happy when I picked her up. There are more carers there than stated in this overview and I have not been introduced to any of them (although all appear happy and polite in their manner). The after school period is always chaotic and I'm not 100% sure whether its just a free for all for the older kids. On a few occasions I have picked my daughter up and found her to be soiled, with a sore bottom however I appreciate with so many children in their care this must be hard to manage. After deciding to move my daughter due to personal reasons I have been made to feel guilty in a series of text messages which are inappropriate as I will be paying the 4 week notice period giving plenty of time to find a replacement for my child. Apparently customers have been turned away who could have taken my children's spaces (although this site seems to claim there are plenty of spaces in September?) Overall, a very busy setting and in my personal opinion I think this could affect the level of care children are receiving.

I was very nervous about leaving my little girl with anyone to return to work but i am so glad we chose Sara as she absolutley loves going and is so happy whilst there! They do so many different things and she is always so excited to tell me what they've been upto. Shes made lots of little friends and her speech has come on so much since going. Sara is lovely with her and im sure she'd go every day if she could :)

First time I have used child minder rather then a nursery. I won't lie I was a bit worried at first that my little girl wouldn't take to it. But she loved it! When I tell her we are going to see Sara she gets excited and runs around has to be a good sign. Sara is lovely easy to talk to and great with my little girl. Also would like to say a massive thank you for working around me and my job much appreciated!

We have only been with Sara for two weeks but she has been great. Helped us to organise our hours and both my children enjoy going. Couldn't recommend her and Sue enough.

Sara and Sue are absolutely fab. They have allowed my 18month old son to settle in so quickly in his first week. He runs straight off when we arrive in the morning to grab a car or train to play with! They are also flexible and understanding to personal circumstances I really couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you

after messaging sara via this website,i found her very down to earth and was able to answer any questions that needed answering.i found her easy to talk to and no pressure in meeting her and the setting where her business is.upon meeting sara and her mum today, they were very welcoming and showed me and my partner round..think my daughter will love her time here ?

On first meeting sara I was impressed with the set up at her mums house, there was so much for my son to do and learn whilst there with plenty of variety. Our son had a book which told us everything he had been up to during the day making us feel we weren't missing out on anything. Would definately recommend sara to others.
