About Me
Hi i am Lesley Temple i have had 20 years experience as a childminder
I have spaces available at the moment.
I am part of the tax free childcare scheme and am able to offer funded places for the new 30 hours starts in September for 9 months 2, 3 and 4 years
i am assisted by my husband Trevor and we live in a quite road near haywards heath hospital
we have a large secure garden with a slide and a climbing frame. and a large sandpit
we love to take advantage of the garden and the local play areas.
we go out in the car to nat trust places and other places.
i have three daughters all now left home
i also have five grandchildren
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2003 in which time I have looked after children between 4 months and 12 years old.
i love looking after babies and children alike
over the years i have seen children turn into adults and feel very proud i have been part of that process
when i see people i have looked after celebrating 18 - 21 birthdays i always have a little smile to myself
I have all the qualifications to do the job I love and some i don't need
my days are always very full with all types of fun and educational activity's
i am able to take all the funding that will be available this year (2024)

CACHE Level 3 Childcare Award.
Level 2 in Child Protection / safeguarding
F/G/M
Special needs trained (autism)
Full Paediatric first aid.
Level 2 Food and Hygiene award.
Fully trained in the EYFS requirements.

Lesley is a wonderful childminder and after recently moving to the area, we feel very lucky to have found her. Both of my sons , aged 4 and 1, love coming to her and are always very well cared for. She has provided a safe and nurturing environment. Lesley is always very quick to answer messages and very adaptable to my children's needs. We also love that the children do a range of activities such as visiting playgroups, parks, the beach , doing crafts or baking ( amongst other things)! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both her and Trevor.

My little girl has been coming to Lesley’s setting for just over a year now, when she first started she was shy and her speech was a bit behind, but within just a few short months she had come on so so much saying new words almost everyday! She loves coming here and always says she is excited and can’t wait to go and see Lesley and her friends.
Lesley is so easy to talk to and feel as though I could chat about anything with her about my daughter, Couldn’t ask for a better childminder ☺️

I think it is fair to say that when i started looking for childcare for my son (was 9 months old), i was pretty petrified. I didn't know where to start and the thought of leaving my little world with someone i didn't know was truely terrifying. However, from the first time I met Lesley and her wonderful family, i knew that my little monkey would be loved as if he were one of hers. Since being in Lesley's care (is now 21 months) my little boy has come on so much, his confidence has grown and he adores her and her family. Be it playing in the garden, arts and crafts (loved my mothers day card the most), or learning new words, Lesley has it covered and all in a safe and welcoming environment. I trust Lesley 100%, all paperwork etc in place and so loving and caring, I cannot recommend Lesley Temple enough.

Lesley has been amazing with my little boy, his development has come on so much since he has been going to Lesley. His walking was quite slow and he was soon running around after plenty of practice! His speech has come on leaps and bounds too! Lesley is great and we are lucky to have her!

Lesley is an amazing childminder, she managed to take my daughter on at such short notice. She is amazing with her and watching my daughter come on loads is great. My daughter gets excited when she sees her which has to be a good thing. Very friendly and highly recommend.
