Amazing

penny looked after my two children and was amazing making them feel like part of the family. My son is autistic and this wasn't a barrier as he was made to feel normal comfortable which put my mind at ease. I have no problems with using them as my children will be safe

Excellent childminders

I feel extremely lucky to have had penny and roger to look after two of my children who both have additional needs.They created a home from home environment for my children.From day one they made them feel at ease.They provide a range of stimulating activites throughout the day and always keep you informed with pictures and text of what the children are up to and what they are doing.my children where so happy there and they provide them with a healthy meal everyday. I couldnt of been happier having penny and roger looking after my two and knowing they where in safe hands.

Safe and Trustworthy

My daughter who is currently studying in Year 2 in Wellington Primary School Hounslow has been going to Mrs. Penny's and Mr. Roger's childcare for the last two years. I have always felt that my daughter is very safe and happy there and I have never heard about any unpleasant experience from my daughter. In addition to the regular schedule, they have been very accommodating to help us for extra hours in case of emergencies. I highly recommend them as child minders.

Amazing childcare the best!

I have known penny for over 10 years and can voucher for her conscientiousness both as a childminder and a member of the local community. Her warmth towards those in her care and desire to do a good job is faultless.
If my son were still of age I would happily engage penny and her assistant to care for him.

Best experience ever for my daughter

Penny and Roger is absolutely amazing in the work and time that they put into taking care of the kids my daughter absolutely loved it there she was so shy and wasn’t communicating a lot her eating habits was a no go .once she started with penny and Roger she was a different little person so full of life eating all of her food taking a lot more the different toys and activities that ther got for kids of different ages is a real benefit to them and helping them unto their journey to starting nursery nothing is ever to much trouble for penny and Roger the kids well being and safety comes first the home is very clean and well kept the food is very good and nutrition for the kids they all sit together to eat their food and always got clean fresh water and fruits to eat .there is outdoor activities for the kids to do and enjoy and learn this is more than just a business to Roger and Penny it’s a family and that’s what Makes it so special for the kids and peace of mind for the parents as you can check up anytime to check on your child and see how they are getting on they have help my little girl grow into the bright confident child she is now she always ask to go back and stay there thank to you and Roger for everything that you do for the children and going above and beyond to listen and understanding and help parents as well.

Top Notch Childminder

Absolutely fantastic. My son has been going to Penny's s for the last 3 years and he loves it. Penny and Roger are a great duo. They provide a safe clean secure environment. They are very accommodating to our needs and are always willing to support us. My son has been collected from school, has been looked after and fed and as an added bonus done some of his homework. A lot of thought goes into activities for the children and there is a good rotation of toys for them to play with as well as learning activities. Special occasions are marked regardless of religion, usually followed with a keepsake which is very thoughtful. There are good practices in place which help the children to make good choices. The quality of care is above and beyond of that of a childminder hence my son feels like he is just going from home to home. I thoroughly recommend Penny's, it definitely is Top Notch!

Best Childcare available!

Penny is fantastic! My children love going to her and have learnt so much! She goes the extra mile all the time including trips, keep sakes, parties and learning opportunities for the children! I visited a few choices before I chose penny and what they offered wasn't near the level of excellence that is offered here! I also previously worked in nurseries and would chose Penny over them all every day. I would 100% recommend Penny to anyone! Penny and her assistant make such a fun and nurturing environment for the children and communicate well with parents and carers for the best care. They also make the most amazing yummy food! Both my kids love their cooking!

The best there is

Penny has provided the most wonderful childcare for my daughter , and it’s the little things that go a long way. For example on Mother’s Day a beautiful keepsake had been made and given to me - so so thoughtful.
My daughter absolutely loved going to Penny and I would say it was home from home.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Penny for childcare provision to anyone!

Like a second home ❤️

My son loved every minute while in the care of Penny and Roger. He spent 2 years with them and now that he's in school really misses them and still remember the good times spent with them. Penny helped me a lot with potty training and always made sure he was fed, clean, warm and happy. Roger kept him safe in the garden while playing, thought him how to pick strawberries and always made his laugh! Two very lovely and attentive parents who put all their experience into practice and make you feel welcome and part of their family. My son was ready for school when he left Penny's home for reception and it's thanks to her if he developed great social skills and learnt a lot of new words through reading and playing.
Very flexible, helpful and reliable! Amazing childminders, highly recommend! 👏 ❤️

Friendly, reliable, trustworthy

My son Louis has been coming to Penny and Roger’s for 2 years, they are very professional and attentive. Penny also does the school run as well which is so helpful. Louis is always happy and enjoys the activities and Roger is great at keeping the children entertained with reading too. Penny also provides warm cooked meals and also specialises with kids with additional needs. Highly recommended

Family childminders-the best In Hounslow

Amazing people with an excellent recent Ofsted report!!!. Penny and Roger have looked after both of my children from newborn and now attend school.. I cannot fault them in anyway.. always there in emergencies for pick ups from the school and emergency stays..
My son has grown into a little young man with the help and support from Penny and Roger..my son loves going there daily and has learnt so many fine motor skills and development skills..Wanted to say Thank you!!

Horror house

I used Penny for 3 years with my son and daughter and at first the care was great. Up until recently they would cry when returning home and state they didn’t want to return because my son who has special needs was being mistreated. The names they were calling my partner to my children (their mother) were horrendous. My son was also told to call himself a liar. When questioned, they terminated our contract!

This is a fabricated Review as a result of Terminating contract when my assistant was verbally abused by partner. Reported ourselves to LADO no markers met on our part and Osted informed which resulted in an Unannonced Ofsted Inspection awaiting Report will publish once I have full report.

You are always very kind, happy relaxed and caring towards our son. We'd never had a Childminder before and was concerned, but you have made the process much easier. We are happy that our son has now settled more at drop off and pick up. The level of care provided is
fantastic and we are really pleased with the relationship you have formed with him.
You always kepping us well informed of the activities that he has undertaken each day. We feel that he is making great developmental progress. Our son clearly loves being with Penny, Roger and the other children.

Classed as family!

My son and daughter have been attending Penny’s for 3 years now. Both have additional needs and additional care requirements. I can’t recommend her enough. They help with homework, the children are fed so well and they have come on leaps and bounds. My worry of returning to work soon went when my son and daughter attended. They are in great hands! And further more, the kids adore them. Thank you so much x

The Best In Hounslow!!!

Wow wow wow!! I couldn’t have found two child focused childminders (the best) in the world!! My daughter was looked after cared for when I was working long distance since the age of 3 years old by Penny and Roger. They helped with her homework, self development, learning skills, and diversity. My daughter who is 8 now.I am very grateful for there support and care. My son who is now 3 years old attends everyday and is very eager going to Penny’s and Roger daily. My son has been attending since birth.. they have helped him grow into this young man with life skills, toilet training and much more that words cannot describe. I wouldn’t change them for the world. They always help me out with my daughter if I am stuck at work and pick her up from school. The best in Hounslow if you don’t believe me give them a try! Gotta be in it to win it. I am grateful I found Penny and Roger, thank you

Home from home

Penny & Roger have been looking after my son for a number of years.
They are loving and caring and provide a great environment for our son. We have recently moved out of London and we still use Penny to look after our son occasionally.
My son has special needs and I find it hard to leave him with people, however I’d wholeheartedly recommend Penny.
I get pictures and updates regularly which is great too.

Very Unprofessional

My daughter was offered School nursery place at 3 different school, so I started looking for for childminder who can do school run.

I found Penny, I went to see her and explained my requirement. She verbally agreed, straight from her house I went school to submit acceptance form.

I came home and messaged her school tentative start date and keep place for my daughter. In few days I received letter from school with the start date, I informed her again and this time I told her that I would like to send my daughter from 16th August, she agreed with the date.

I even asked her if she is planning to take any holidays in August so I can book mine as per her. She gave me holidays dates.

After few days I messaged her to ask when I come to discuss further about the timing as my daughter was started 2.5 weeks before school but she didn’t message. After few days I called her but she didn’t answer or no call back.

Again after few days I messaged her, she replied she can’t offer place to my daughter as I didn’t confirm if I want to send my daughter or not. I sent her message screenshot, where I informed her school start date and I agreed to send my daughter to her place and asked her when I can come to discuss further details but it was her who didn’t reply. To this she just messaged good luck with your searches.

I prepared my daughter for the school now she is so disappointed that she can’t go to school as all her friends from current daycare going to school and she is not going to see her.

Penny has let my daughter down and put me in messy situation. Unfortunately until today I still didn’t find anyone for school run. Please be careful.

Absolutely Amazing !!!

My 2 & 3 year old have both been going to Penny’s full time for the past 3 months since I decided to return to work. Already, the difference in my children have not gone unnoticed! There behaviour and skills they are learning everyday is great. I am constantly updated with photos and messages throughout the day. They are fed so well and they truly adore her and her family.
The reassurance I have received has truly been amazing, I have full trust and confidence in her. So pleased we found her!!! X

Four years of outstanding care for my son

Penny has been looking after my son for the last four years.
She is extremely caring and goes the extra mile to ensure that my son is happy.
Initially my son was going to her for two to three days a week and now he is at school she has him after school. Penny provides my son with a lovely tea each evening which is healthy and nutritious.
Each day I am provided with feedback , letting me know how he has been.
This is invaluable as my son has autism and can’t always express himself .
There is a very large garden which is great for the children too.
I would recommend Penny to all parents as she is absolutely fantastic.

Still outstanding!

Penny is truly amazing. She has made huge progress with my son during the past year and he's now ready to move to school. It's been the perfect setting for my son. Penny not only has a welcoming environment but it is a safe, happy and fun setting for a child to grow and develop at their own pace. She understands individual's needs and strength and builds on that. She is very reassuring and takes great care of the children's physical, emotional and psychological development.

She is professional, knowledgeable and resourceful. My son has developed into a well rounded 4 years old under her care, love and attention. He understands boundaries and consequences. My son hit so many milestones with Penny. That's because she is truly caring and a safe place for him. She completely toilet trained him within a week! A boy who was reluctant to even sit on the toilet! She has transformed his life and ours too as it's a delight to see him growing so well and being so confident. My son will be starting school in September and my only sore point is that we will miss Penny so much.

I highly recommend Penny for anyone who is looking for an amazing childminder.

Simply outstanding

My 3.5 years old son has flourished since going to Penny. He has developed wonderful friendships, his communication skills have improved massively, his confidence has grown, his eating issues have disappeared, he is happy and therefore his behaviour is better than ever. And this is not by chance, it is only due to the hard work, dedication, compassion and understanding that Penny and her assistant have taken the time to give to my son.


Penny has created a warm, nurturing, safe and genuinely loving environment in which my son has blossomed. She is engaging, creates a love for exploring and a thirst for learning whilst playing and having fun. Penny is unique in her style and my son bounces to go to her home every day. Her quality and standards are very high; she provides positive feedbacks throughout the day with pictures and notes to update me on how my son is doing. She deals with any issues on the spot, promptly and reassuringly and uses age appropriate systems to ensure that he learns and understands if he has misbehaved for e.g. she has a fantastic thinking mat where he can go and sit for a minute to think about his actions if he misbehaves, after which he gets a cuddle from Penny and continues for the day.
She gives her full attention to him. She provides a very nurturing environment where manners, courtesy and respect are highly valued and consistently encouraged. Penny has high expectations of the children's behaviour which in turn helps my son with behaving really well as he responds very well with the positive praise that she constantly gives him.


Penny goes the extra mile in the things she does which is what makes her outstanding. For e.g. my son never ate a morsel of food nor drank a sip of water in his previous care setting which he attended for almost a year. When he started at Penny, she took her time, patience and used her expertise to encourage him to eat and drink. She positively motivated him to sit on the table with his peers to eat and drink which he now does with no issues. As he’s eating and drinking throughout the day, his behaviour has dramatically changed to the better as he’s no longer hungry and grumpy. The day he started eating and drinking, she cheered louder than me. She celebrates every milestone with so much praise and affection. She skilfully uses the opportunities at mealtimes to promote the understanding of the food he is eating which is brilliant as he is motivated to eat well.


She makes everything meaningful; she takes comments on board, asks questions and makes necessary changes to ensure the best interest of my child, for e.g. my son has a passion for books and she got some extra lovely books he can enjoy and captures his imagination and is exciting for him. She encourages literacy as she sits and reads with him for e.g. she will role play with number blocks and alphabets cards and encourage him to recognise them which he thoroughly enjoys.


My son speech and understanding skills have come in leaps and bounds since going to Penny. She places focus on his language skills for e.g she introduces new words and concept at every opportunity which my son loves, retains and repeats. She waits and gives him ample time to talk about his thoughts and ideas which motivates him to speak and understand better. He eagerly and easily talk about why and what.


When it comes to learning, Penny is giving my son experiences that are rich, varied and imaginative. For e.g. she makes sure that the activities that are provided are a mixture of adult-led activities and experiences where my son can lead his own play and explore his own ideas. She encourages my son to be independent in the things that he does such as choosing the toys, books, sharing nicely, taking turns, washing hands, using the toilet, tidying up and taking his food and drinks by himself. She encourages positive attitude to playing and exploring, active learning, and creating. For e.g. he will happily tidy away the toys he played with before moving to the next activity which is only because of her interesting systems of encouragement. She is has been skilfully resourceful in teaching him how to take turn and share with his peers. She encourages a high focus on the natural world for e.g. when a butterly comes into the garden, they observe the colours, wings and chase after it happily. For e.g. she also grows butterflies to encourage keen interest in the nature so the kids can observe the life cycle and how they change.


Penny has access to a large private garden which has been carefully designed with child friendly spaces, which encourages my son to be creative as it holds a lot outdoor toys, a spot for fruits and vegetables growing, water play, which is great for his motor skills and enhances his daily experience with her. Furthermore, she has been a big influence on his learning and development, every day I am amazed and look forward to hear on how well my son is doing. Penny and her assistant are a well-equipped and well-resourced team. They are meticulous in their planning in how to boost his daily experience, which means my son is gaining valuable skills in his early year’s foundation which is so important in preparing him for his school career ahead. She's conscious of his health and safety for e.g. she always ensure that he wears a hat and has suncream on when out playing in the garden to protect him from the exposure of the sun and ensures he gets plenty of fluid so he doesn't get dehydrated. My son gets many worthwhile opportunities to develop and challenge his excellent physical skills. For example, he confidently jumps with both feet now which he couldn't do before and move imaginatively around the garden and plays on the various outdoor toys which helps him.


From a pastoral perspective, Penny has made my son confident and secure and has formed a strong emotional attachment as she treats him as an individual and adapts the activities he does according to his needs. This in turn means he behaves well towards his peers and show care and concern to others for e.g. at home he's now very loving and affectionate with his younger sibling.


Penny provides so much more than a warm and comfortable environment. She is reliable, understanding, knowledgeable, experienced and most of all my son has thrived with her as she has given him a high quality of care for his wellbeing. My son has made a huge rate of progress. Most important of everything, she doesn’t stop trying, which is priceless to me as a parent. I highly recommend her to anyone. She's a joy to behold and cherish.

Excellent caring childminder

Penny is a lovely women who has been looking after my son for about 6 weeks. Every time he is with her he comes home with something he has made and she always keeps me up to speed with what he is doing during the day with pictures .
She makes a conscious effort to meet his special needs and seeks out activities that will aid his development.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to other parents.
