About Me

I am very family orientated and have a love of family life and caring for children of all ages. I enjoy helping them learn and grow and it fills me with joy to see them flourish. I like to find out their interests so they can learn in a way that excites them.

I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking and spending time outdoors, I’m also very accustomed to snuggling up with a good film once in a while! All of which I enjoy in the company of little ones.

I like using different resources to find a variety of activities to help with child development and giving them lots of exciting opportunities to explore, experiment and have fun.

I’m a very organised, alert and efficient person, and always happy to help. I pride myself on my friendly and caring personality and I think I’m a very approachable person.
I do believe that children require a certain level of discipline, but I am always reasonable, fair, and gentle in my manner.

I like to encourage children to help to look after themselves so they can become responsible and independent as they become older. This could be through basic things such as dressing themselves or tidying up after an activity – always dependent on age!

I have many years in childcare through various settings, including nannying. I also looked after the housework in my last nanny position and felt I went the extra mile. I’m very house-proud myself and enjoy making things look clean and tidy.

I have a clean driving licence of 13 years and my own car, I am a non-smoker, and have previous CPR & Medical emergencies training, and pediatric first aid from my position as a dental nurse.

I have a true and genuine interest in children and giving them as many positive opportunities and experiences as possible.

I have my own little boy now, who is 11 months old, so my options have somewhat changed.
I won't be able to offer full time work now, but ideally on an adhoc basis for mothers help or babysitting. If I'm able to bring my son I can offer lots of time! But otherwise I will only be available when my partner isnt working, or if I can arrange childcare.

I'm always happy to muck in with anything you needed help with, cleaning, food shopping, errands, cooking/meal prep, gardening tidying/decluttering, nursery/clothes organisation, babysitting....honestly, anything you needed help with I would only be too happy to jump in! I know how full on it is taking care of children, trying to look after a home, and yourself. I wasnt able to have any help like that when my baby was born, so it would be amazing to do that for someone else x
